We have dined at Market Street many times. This evening, Friday, Dec. 6th was not a good experience. Service was slow and waitress attitude was not positive. There were 6 of us in our party. Our reservations were at 5pm. I had to physically go to find someone after a half an hour to get someone to take our order. I had notified staff we had tickets for the Cascade at 7pm. I had to ask again after a long delay in receiving our food. When it came the steak was tough and luke warm. One of our guests said her chicken was cold and the cheese topping had not even melted during the cooking process. Overall out of the 6 of us . . . no one was happy with their dinner.

The food was not great. The descriptions did not match what you received. Beef stroganoff is noodles next to a steak. Half a chicken was two breast pieces. The Blue cheese crumbled was a very salty blue cheese sauce.

Had tried to go before a concert at the Cascade theatre several months ago but the place was packed. Made sure to make reservations this time, but they were totally unnecessary. Don’t know if it’s because it was a Sunday night, there wasn’t a concert, or the newness has worn off. The food was great and the potions were generous. That being said, the prices were too high for the location (might be okay in LA or SF, not Redding). Since I chose the restaurant, I had volunteered to pick up the tab, but my guests were still reluctant in ordering what they wanted due to the price. The service was great (very attentive but not annoyingly so). The music was too loud and didn’t necessarily fit the vibe. It seemed like the bar crowd was bigger than the dining room crowd, which may have influenced the music. If the prices came down about 20%, I would go back. Otherwise it’s likely a one and done for me.

The service was great and the food was excellent. I had the Tai Chicken Salad it was huge and very tasty, we had the Tempura Artichoke Hearts delicious, the hubby had the half Cobb Salad and the Crab Sandwich both very delicious. Needless to say we had a lot of leftovers and they were just as great the next day.

Another great evening at Market St. Steakhouse. It's always great when someone knows how to cook a Filet, whether you order rare or medium rare you will get it exactly how you order. The French Onion soup is spot on and I highly recommend you order it. Great ambience, good wine and value for money spent.

I indicated this reservation was for our anniversary, but no recognition was made by the staff, which was disappointing.

Great food!! Great Atmosphere

Great steakhouse in Redding CA. Very good food, nice atmosphere, great service and reasonable prices. Since the steaks were large, we asked to split the meal which they did for $12.

We went to celebrate a birthday. We had pulled up the menu from the website before we went. Looked good. The menu at the restaurant was completely different...prices higher and selection at a minimum.
I ordered a drink and they had run our of the liquor I wanted. My dinner was inedible. They did credit back the cost of the meal and served a good dessert to our birthday celebrant. The service was good. The evening cost us over $200.00...party of 5 with one ordering just a salad and one ordering an appetizer. Way over our budget and not worth the meals we received. It was unfortunately a disappointing evening and we will not be back.

Our food was horrible! We never got our dinner salads at all. The rib eye was so salty I couldn’t even eat it. The fettuccine was extremely greasy my wife didn’t eat hers. About the only the we enjoyed for $120 was the dinner bread and water. We will never return

This is a great steakhouse in Redding. We showed up late after an evening of fishing and they still accommodated us! I will definitely recommend this place to friends in the future.

Quality of the food, service and environment are all outstanding.

Upon arrival, our party of 6 was seated immediately. There was ice water and bread already on our table watching for us, wow!! Our server Leigha (not certain of the spelling) was an absolute joy. She was adorable, efficient and professional. Our food and drinks were delicious and this was the perfect place for a a ladies night out!!

The sirloin steak is too dry and no taste. The calamari appetizer has too much batter

My mom and I were I. Town for 1 night and decided to eat here. The food looked amazing, however, 1 bite into the ribeye let me know this shouldn’t be a steakhouse. The steak was extremely salty and we couldn’t eat it. The fettuccine side was delicious but my mom said her risotto was just ok.
The other issue was that our waitress (Gypsy) said she could not take the steaks off the menu, forced us to order something else, and debated if we would still be charged for the steak. In the end, they made it right, but it shouldn’t have been that difficult.
Never Again!

We did wait a while for a waitress, and nobody noticed, we finally had to ask.
Delicious steak but $48 way overpriced, especially with the small amount of veges it comes with.
Overall, I would consider it a major splurge and probably won't go back, but the food was very good and once we got a waitress we were well served.

This was the second time I've been to Market Street Steakhouse for dinner. I honestly don't know what the big deal is about this place. It is ridiculously overpriced for mediocre food. Done!

superb as always. our annual anniversary dinner there. waitress was fantastic. very quick service. great filet, and the fries are the best in town. couldn’t expect better.

Good cocktails, delicious food, great service. Very noisy and hard to hear the others in our party.

Our server Cameron was amazing and so accommodating
as my group of friends do tend to get a little rowdy. She handled it very well and even joked about it. Loved her and will return.

The food was a bit expensive but it was very tasty. The server was very engaging and helpful. We will go back.

No wait. Quick easy and great value. Good service. Very attentive. Will be back again and excited to use the ap again as the waits can be long here.

Delicious meal! It was pretty loud, but it was a busy bar night.

The service was terrible, over an hour to take our order. They forgot my tea and catsup for meal.Our reservations were at 630 and we didn't get out of there till after 9pm. The website said 1 price but the menu was almost double the price.

My filet had two thin pieces of meat stacked on top of each other and touch as leather.
