Cuisine originale et bonne.
Service gentil mais très long.
Prix élevés mais normaux pour centre ville.
Another amazing meal at Market. I highly recommend the crispy sushi, truffle pizza & kale salad.
Waitress was very nice and accommodating . Dimmed lighting made the place very romantic . Upscale crowd .
Am always happy to eat at any Jean George’s restaurant anywhere in the world. There is always something on the menu I like.
This restaurant has excellent food and ambiance but an unfortunate event sourd the evening (our waiter quit in the middle of the meal) leaving us without dessert or an explanation for some time. While management’s gesture —a dessert not requested or liked by the birthday girl— was brought to the table is was inadequate. Disappointed by management, not the food.
Decided to finally have a nice dinner in Paris tonight and thought I could not go wrong with this place.
Unfortunately the food was ok and the service was bad. Considering we spent 155 euro for two people it was disappointing to say the least:
Service (1 Star)
It took about 10 minutes to take our drink order and another 15 to take out dinner order. We had to ask for bread and our table was tiny and since we didn't order wine you would think to take the wine glasses away.
Food (2 Stars)
Pistachio Guacamole with Corn Chips was ok. The guacamole had a hint of pistachio which made it unique but crazy for 19 euro.
Calamari had no taste and needed salt. It was crispy but really bland.
Rigatoni pesto and pistachio was good and pasta was cooked nice
Beef tenderloin was ordered medium rare but came medium to medium well. Because it took so long I ended up not complaining and finished the dish. The sauce and the brussel sprouts and gravy were great but as I tried to finish the beef it got tougher with every bite. The gravy and brussel sprouts saved some of the dish
For dessert we ordered the lemon almond cake and it was ok. Could not discern the lemon not the almond.
We asked for the check and again it took another 30 minutes.
All in all not sure if we were considered second class citizens because we sat in the bar area but for a JG restaurant it was surprising to be treated to such lackluster service.
The waiter was nice but I blame management. It seems like just poor attention to detail and lack of training.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Started out quiet at 7:30 PM but soon every table was full and the techno music was turned up and the lights dimmed. It ended up being our best meal during our stay in Paris. Loved that it was right next to the Champs-Elysees. The food was delicious and my lychee and raspberry bellini was wonderful. We will definitely visit Market when we return to Paris!
Toujours fan du cadre mais hélàs le niveau sonore beaucoup trop élève (musique) et un temps d’attente très long entre chaque plat ou demande extra.
Awesome ambiance, great vibe, beautiful food presentation and the clean tastes exquisite! Thank you for the nice break from Paris traditions - Brasseries and Bistros !
Very good! Would go back.
We are visiting from the USA had English menu, very accommodating, great food, great ambiance, highly recommend
It was a remarkable experience, with delicious food, ambient atmosphere and outstanding level of service. A bit pricey, but was worth every € paid.
The food, service and vibe were fantastic. It’s a beautiful restaurant and the food is delicious. We got the crab cake and Parmesan crusted chicken. I’d highly recommend it for any occasion including special events.
