Thought we were going to an actual restaurant but this is just the lobby bar of the Hilton. Seems to be more marketing than market. Room service food dressed up a little... NOT a gastropub. :(
so yummy !!! i highly recommend!! food was ammmmazingggg !!!
Overpriced ... food was terrible ... service was decent. Christmas Eve pri fixe dinner and was hoping for a special evening. I feel like I just through a lot of money away - like $68 per person 👎
We went to Hilton Market Kitchen for Sunday brunch. The hotel lobby, atrium and restaurant were very modern, attractive and comfortable. We arrived 10 minutes early and after a short wait our hostess Jennifer got us a great table. Our waitress/server Sally was very attentive and helpful and brought us an ample supply of (included in price) Mimosas (that was a nice surprise). Even though it was very busy Jennifer and Sally really helped make it a great experience. Food was varied and very good too as was the female singer. Definitely plan on coming back soon - overall 4.5 stars.
Recent visit was on Thanksgiving. Buffett style service. Overbooked and understaffed. Plenty of food, seating was being thrown up while dining, long waits for drinks from bar. Overall overpriced for dinner, as experience was more like being at a wedding and seated so far from the bride & groom you wonder why you bothered to show up or why you were invited in the first place. Food was tasty and will go back, just not on a holiday.
This is my favorite place for brunch in ocala. Upscale and great good and service. Highly recommended for class and special occasions for sure. Menu and service is top notch.
The most disorganized dining experience we have had lately. We could never quite figure out the issue, whether staffing or just plain lack of organization. We had to order drinks and the meal three different times from three different servers, including the manager. The setting is a lobby bar for a Hilton hotel; not a very good choice (and the only option) for guests of the hotel with kids. A big disappointment.
Wonderful staff! George and Sally are the best servers, always anticipate needs, friendly and always bend over backward to make a great dining experience. Jennifer is a perfect hostess, and Chef Chris makes the very best fluffy omelette I've ever eaten!
Good food & entertainment. A fun night.
The menu was better than most restaurants in the Ocala area but the prices were way to high for a bar restaurant. Definitely fine dining prices. I would not recommend this restaurant because of this factor though I thought the food was fine.
We thought we were going to Arthur’s but instead ended in the lobby of the hotel at the market place with loud entertainment and decided to leave. We met others at another restaurant who also decided to leave.
Had Mother’s Day brunch. The air conditioning wasn’t working so they had all the doors open. Flys were getting in and we’re flying around food. Hardly any breakfast items. No omelet station no waffles no pastries. Hot and mediocre food. Definitely not worth the money. Very disappointed.
Limited but expensive menu. Seating in hotel lobby. Thought it would be an actual restaurant type atmosphere. Service was excellent.
Was quite expensive for Easter brunch and had only eggs benedict for a breakfast item, rest of buffett was lunch-dinner menu. Buffet wss set up too close to entry door, and seating even for those loke us with reservations was handled strangely wiyh long lines and no clear method or preference for reservation holders. Service staff was great, master chef visited tables as a really nice, friendly touch and he listened to comments.
Our server, George was the BEST, he was engaging, friendly and very attentive. We will ask for him as a server every time we go!
While the food was ok the service was virtually nonexistent. Stood at the hostess station waiting to be seated for 7 minutes while watching two employees just hang around the bar area talking and laughing. Then waited for another ten minutes for our drinks. We ordered and then some time later had to ask the server if she put our order in because nothing had come out yet. Then our appetizer comes out about 5 minutes later. The food when we eventually got it was just room temperature and the cheese that was once melted was once again a nice solid piece. Not at all likely to return here.
We truly enjoyed our Sunday Brunch and our waiter, George, was phenomenal. We will definitely go back!
Open table menu is not up to date. Limited menu. Service is very good. Be prepared to wait for food as it is made to order which there is nothing wrong with. Alittle pricy for what it is
Have been coming here for several years on a monthly basis, since it was called Arthur's (my mother, who is 93, likes to sit at a table rather than a booth). During this time we have witnessed its steady decline, despite several management changes and renovations. Last Sunday was the worst. We had reservations, but they weren't worth a darn, as we still had to wait for a table. The person at the omelet station was an abysmal cook who served an undercooked lump of food swimming in RAW egg product. Soup was Velveeta cheese with beer dumped in it. Green beans were completely cold, despite being kept in a "hot" tray, not only unappetizing, but a potential health hazard.
The only bright spots at this place are George and Sally, the great servers who have hung on through thick and thin. If it were up to me, I would NEVER go back, but, alas, my mother likes the place.
We made reservations at a restaurant that must have been there with an amazing menu. We arrived to find out the restaurant had changed and a total different menu. Very disappointed . However the hotel bar had awesome service
Great service, must increase food quality again
The staff was so accommodating and kind. Amazing food!
Waited for over 10 minutes to be seated. After that time, went to inquire about where to give Open Table reservation to, only to find there was no one to take the reservation.
Regardless, we decided to look at the menu, only to find that a number of the selections listed on the Open Table menu for this establishment, were nowhere to be found on either the lunch and/or dinner menu.
Very disappointing! No one there seemed to care much about our patronage, so we left.
Just awful. This "restaurant" is nothing more than a few tables in a hotel lobby. Nothing like the pictures, and certainly no food was served. I made reservations here for a quick dinner with my company's Vice-President based off of the "reviews" and was humiliated. I can't help but wonder who fabricated some of these reviews, but this place needs to be investigated by OpenTable. Never again.
A nice evening
Not what we expected for Christmas Eve dinner. No decorations. Waiters in jeans. No tablecloths. It was the breakfast room for the guests. No music. Hardly anyone there. The food was quite good however. But this is not for a special occasion . We won't be back.
We were an elderly couple alone on Christmas Eve and between meeting the chef and having frequent conversations with our waiter, we almost felt like we were with family. Our table for two looked out on the patio/pool area and the atmosphere was delightful.
Excellent food, terrific service! Eateries in hotels aren’t necessarily the best, but Arthur’s Bistro was definitely an exception.
Pleasant people, great food. Free mimosa's and Bloody Mary's. Prime Rib was the center piece for me. Plan to hit the Brunch at least once a month.
It was not mentioned in Opentable that the restaurant was in a Hilton or that the only menu they serve on Sunday am is $30 brunch. We got there at 2:00 and evidently brunch is over at 3:00 but they were very nice and did not rush us. The selection was very good.
Sally our server was fabulous!
She kept the Mimosa's flowing.
The hotel seemed very nice and quiet even though it is right off I-75.
We are planning to go back and stay for a weekend. Very impressed.
It is not obvious from reading the overview that this is a hotel restaurant. I only say that because my expectations immediately changed once I realized this. However the service was excellent and the food was good. The price value point was better than expected for a hotel but my husband did say the ribs were average at best. Honestly the food was average not bad not great.
Good poorly prepared. Service very slow. Entrees had to be sent back. 60th birthday party ruined.
Our favorite place for every occasion especially Sunday Brunch
We had a 6:15 reservation and our entrees were served at 7:45! I should also state that we were the only table in the restaurant for the first 30 minutes. Server was polite, but definitely inexperienced in how to manage the situation. I asked to speak to the manager twice. First, I asked the bartender to get the manager, since the server was no where to be found. Then, I asked the server when the food did arrive. Manager never came for another 40 minutes. Finally, after waiting for 10 minutes after asking for the check, I told my husband we were leaving and going to leave on the table what I thought the meal was worth. Manager did finally come at this point with our check. I explained that we were only going to pay for a the check at a considerable discount, which she politely obliged. Server was nice but inexperienced. Food was good except my sons' Med-rare to medium steak was raw! Still doesn't explain the hour and half wait for food.
The staff handled this well. No one could explain the wait, since for a good 30 minutes there was no one else. It was an unfortunate circumstance. I would not go back.
Was there for Valentine's Day. Moved reservation for 8:30 - was there on time.
Restaurant was half-empty; five tables were unbussed - and remained so for about 20 minutes.
After about 10 minutes, I went and asked the hostess if she might find us a server - as four servers had looked at us, walked past us, yet never acknowledged us.
Finally - after another 5 minutes -Cindy approached us and took drink orders.
That took another nearly 10 minutes...beer arrived immediately, but the scotch took a while (?).
When she went to take dinner order, we ordered surf and turf ("Out of Surf and Turf") - had to beg for my date to only have a steak (w/out the lobster; seemed like that was a terrible request).
I might note that the prix fixe meal offered that evening was not what was on the website, nor was there any indication until we asked that we could not order off of the regular menu that eve. Also, Cindy seem ruffled by us not wanting to place the dessert order right away.
The lobster bisque was terrific; the french onion soup was very heavy on the salt (too much beef base). Salads and meals were good. We ordered a red velvet Cheesecake to split (that, too seemed like an usual request?); it was frozen.
Asked for coffee; never received.
All in all, it was a terrible disappointment - especially at $60 per head.
We had a reservation at 7:45 but they were over booked. After sitting in the bar area for 20 minutes, the hostess walked over and asked if we were waiting on them to seat is. We ended up having to wait 30 minutes to be seated. The server was nice and he was the only reason why we stayed. The food was disgusting, meaning the lobster was over cooked and tasted terrible, and the steak and potatoes tasted freezer burnt. It took over 2 hours for us to be served a pre-picked valentine's menu. Unfortunately we weren't the only people who had this experience. The table next to us were completely neglected and the staff had no clue who ordered what, not to mention they were waiting longer than us to be seated. I believe they finally got their salads after we had paid. Did I mention they charged us $170 for 3 people? Ridiculous.
This is our favorite place to dine, we also send all our friends.
Excellent Sunday Brunch table....Excellent quality and value...Service and ambiance is uniquely classy....Congratulations...
Went here for brunch on my birthday. We had a 1:30 reservation and were immediately seated. Our waitress took our beverage order and directed us to the buffet. There were several stations:salads, shrimp and salmon , carving, hot food, waffle and dessert. The salads were fresh and enjoyable. The shrimp were large and tasty as was the smoked salmon. Overall the hot foods were just ok. Most were barely warm and the rice was hard; however, the jambalaya was very good. Waffles were make your own. The carving station had a cook making omletts but there was NO MEAT TO CARVE! We were told they ran out. How do you run out of meat with at least 1 1/2 hours before the close of the brunch. This was not a good thing. There was over cooked bacon and sausage that was not eatable. The desserts were good . The triple chocolate mousse cake (birthday gift from the restaurant) was excellent. Mimosas were free flowing. We were given a discount after complaining about the lack of meat. I would not go here again. There were too many things that were not right.
