The Market Hotel is your new friendly neighbourhood Ballarat pub and restaurant. We've recently undergone a full renovation and we're excited to show off our awesome new vibe.

Grab a seat in our beer garden and soak up the sun while you dive into our fresh new menu. Thirsty? We've got you covered with a vast range of beers on tap. And for the sports enthusiasts, we've got two pool tables and a front bar with large screen tvs to keep you entertained.

We have 2 function rooms now available for bookings for private functions. Contact us for more info.

We are happy to provide full disability access for all patrons at The Market Hotel & Pub Ballarat. We have a ramp fitted at the front door which allows same level access to the entire venu.

Grazing Feast $65 per person. The Igloos are set for bookings of 8, so grab your friends and family and make a party of 8. Start your feast with a selection of mixed entrees, featuring our new signature Baked Brie topped with candied walnuts and grapes, golden mushroom arancini, crispy mac & cheese balls, and slices of house-made pizza. Then dive into a generous sharing platter of slow-cooked chilli pork ribs, tender porterhouse steak, and lightly fried calamari, served with corn ribs, onion rings, creamy coleslaw and seasoned chips. Also included is a choice of a glass of bubbles, beer, soft drink or wine. One drink per person.

Food was so yummy , kid friendly menu also had things for the kids to do Service was amazing Cosy atmosphere Not too noisy parking was easy also the outdoor area looked great for the warmer nights We will be definitely going back

When you walked in you are greeted with a smile and a hello. Restaurant was warm and cosy, meals were lovely generous and priced well. No charge for soda water was a big plus I only drink this and everywhere else charges 🙃 we will definitely be back 💯

Awesome atmosphere & food. Service was brilliant. Shane the Manager made a point of coming over and saying hello. Will definitely be making this our go to pub!

Happy to recommend this venue. Well renovated. Friendly, prompt service, good food and menu choices. We weren’t able to have a coffee following the meal and that was the only negative.

Had a lovely lunch. My husband and I had the seniors fish,chips and salad . (Yummy) (Our friends had the sSchnitzel and the Parma and they said it was very nice. Staff very friendly.
