On Tuesday, October 10th, Marisi will be offering a four-course tasting menu featuring the dishes and wines from these two distinctive and culinary-rich regions of Italy. While this event is open to any and all parties who will be joining us for dinner this evening, every guest in your group must select the experience to participate. The four-course tasting menu with wine pairings is $95 excluding tax and gratuity. Come get lost in the islands for a night.

Our server provided us with excellent advice on cocktails and wine pairings, as well as food choices that best fit our palette tastes. She had tasted every dish we asked about and knew how to describe them perfectly which helped us decide which ones to choose. She never steered us wrong! It was very much appreciated and really enhanced the experience. We will be back for sure!

What a gem! So glad we celebrated our wedding anniversary here. Service was superb, dinner was delish. It’s the little things that make a huge impression. Beautiful interior dining and exterior garden. Highly recommend!

Second time here at Marisi. Outstanding again! The first time we sat in the back of the restaurant in a warm and beautiful setting. This time we sat in the front (not the street) by my request which they accommodated nicely. My guests were very impressed with everything, the food! Drinks! Atmosphere! And of course the Service.

It was one of the best experience I have had in San Diego. It was a special night. It was my wedding anniversary and they took the time they gave us special champagne, a nice card it’s for the elevating that experience for truly grateful to this venue and greet people that works in it I suggest to everyone

I have been to Marisi twice and have loved it each time! The service is on point, so helpful, friendly and on top of anticipating each part of our meal. The food is delicious and the cocktails are spot on! Definitely recommend for a special night out.

We tried the carpaccio as a starter. It was a nice presentation, but the spices used were not to our taste. I found it unusual that the carpaccio was not served with bread (when we asked we were told that we could purchase focaccia bread). We ordered lamb chops and duck ragu pappardelle. Like the carpaccio the lamb was not spiced to our taste. The portion was fair, but expensive ($60+). The pappardelle was also an ample size. The taste was "pretty good". The bill contained a 4% surcharge. When we asked what this was for the waiter told us management uses the fee to pay staff benefits. The ambience was nice but I don't recommend based on cost, menu options, and taste.

Venue vibe is spectacular. The condescending hosts do not exemplify hospitality, which is a deterrent to guests. Please enhance training for the employee with long black straight hair so that she better reflects the classy brand. Gnocchetti with short rib is super. Server Scott is great.

My pasta tasted like it was made with ketchup. The host was extremely rude when we checked in 5 minutes early. Rolled his eyes at us and told us “bar is full” and to go do “something else” until our reservation was ready. Almost all of their appetizers were “sold out.” Waitress was clueless. Worst Italian food in San Diego. Don’t waste your time

The service was impeccable, and the food was scrumptious. I also highly recommend the vermouth and the Limoncello. Surprisingly, the Limoncello goes really well with the decadent Milk Chocolate.

We went for my birthday and it was an experience that I will not soon forget. The service was timely but never overbearing. The cuisine was delicious and fresh, and to hear the stories of how the restaurant and menu have been curated invited a sense of ownership and sharing in the creation of the experience. Steve the GM, Rachel our server, and the whole staff really made our evening memorable; a memory we can't wait to add to the next time we have an opportunity to visit.

The ambiance in this restaurant is just immaculate. The servers were so knowledgeable about the menu and made perfect suggestions for our party. Everything was delicious! They also made my friends birthday super special by giving her a card from the restaurant. 10/10 would recommend!

The food was fantastic, the service was very slow and the waiter kept making excuses. He charged us double on a couple of things we ordered and made an excuse another person put it in. We went at 5pm, it was not full, the manager was fantastic. The food was fantastic.

Overall we had an INCREDIBLE time. Multiple people coming to our table always checking on us, filling our waters, wiping down the tables. The coffee and cream dessert was the best dessert I’ve have IN MY LIFE! Pasta was good, I will say I think Cesarina in Point Loma has better homemade pasta for a bit cheaper but still it was very good! The ambiance is incredible. They really outdid themselves on the decor/details.

What an amazing dining experience! We dined at Marisi for their 1 year anniversary and it was spectacular! Each course was delicious with good size portions that were a medley a beautiful flavors that accompanied the exquisite presentation. The ambience was so nice nice. You felt like you were eating at a European cafe that had scrumptious selections for every plate that lands on your table. Definitely a repeat over and over!
