Our standard a la carte menu will not be available. The full menu with beverage pairings will be available on our website, www.mariposaclt.com. Let's bring in the New Year together, in typical Mariposa fashion!! As this is a ticketed event, refunds will not be available for cancellations or party size changes unless an exception is made by management. Vegetarians and guests with food allergies can be accommodated upon prior request. Please provide any restrictions in the reservation notes! No substitutions or modifications allowed otherwise.

    Didn't have to pay to park in the deck at 8 pm. The staff was helpful, attentive, and courteous. Both wine and food were delicious. My partner and I split tomato cucumber salad, pork belly lettuce wraps, bread with butter, branzino, and half chicken. There were only a few bites left by the end 😬

    Went for Jazz brunch and it was great. My only issue was the Shakshouka. The eggs were overcooked and very hard yokes as opposed to the traditional poached. From the looks of another guest at different table, theirs was the same. Other than that, it was a good time I’d go again and try something else.

    We had a great server who was very attentive and pleasant. The food, especially the corn fritters and squash casserole, were great! There are a lot of great options for vegetarians outside of just salad, which I appreciated!

    O’Neill was an excellent server - great energy, personality and very knowledgeable about full menu- his drink recommendations were spot on for our tastes! Great place to dine before attending a show at Knights Theater.

    Wonderful time at Mariposa. We had the paella and chicken. Both were very good. The chicken took a very long time to get to the table. Our dessert was also very good. Great restaurant but allow for extra time

    We had fantastic service - Jade should be commended. We love the wine selection here. Service can be pushed hard on a busy night and tonight was no exception. Dishes were great when they were great and so-so at times. Special was terrific, pork belly lettuce wraps served with wilted lettuce and not enough lettuce, and cauliflower was lukewarm and undercooked / not well seasoned. Loved the duck confit and octopus small plates.

    Location in the Mint Museum is awesome… however…. The service is fine not great, bathroom cleanliness = disgusting. The floors in the corridor to the bathroom = gross. Lunch… um it’s a lunch you have an hour, hurry the f’ up. Whiskey = you need a big rock, it’s 2023. Food = flavor good but menu way too limited for a service this slow, and honestly the portions are way too small for a lunch where generally portions are too big, but this is ridiculous for a lunch. I took business clients and was embarrassed to bring them here, I love the museum - not sure if they are affiliated?

    Absolutely love it here. The dulce de leche martini is the best take on an espresso martini I’ve ever had! The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. I could not have asked for a better experience!

    We have dined here often for the Sunday brunch. We will not return. Patio was filthy and tables not cleaned. Service last three visits is just poor. Second time we have been seated and then have to ask for service , even menus and water. Food has just become mediocre. Better choice elsewhere. Too bad as this place use to be grade but is now being neglected and under poor management.

    Had a male server with a thick acent , first thing i ask him was to “please if you can put everything on my tab” & gave me attitude and said yeah ok after. Then i asked for margaritas and he told us prior that “we have an open bar” & then said “you can order margaritas but not here” & made me look stupid to my whole guest. I dont know what this guy’s problem but THIS IS THE WORST SERVER IVE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY LIFE. Straight up attitude & unprofessional, were from hawaii and came to charlotte for a visit and seen this place because of the good reviews but i think its bs, this place has so much RUDE servers & WE WILL NEVER COME BACK AGAIN.

    Patio has a great view of uptown. The portion sizes were larger than expected, which was a nice bonus. The cauliflower was fantastic. Skip the truffle butter - way too expensive for what you get.

    Mariposa was a super first time experience. I loved the ambience and vibe. Beautifully decorated decorated with plush seating. And the food was superb. I had the Cobb Salad and added chicken. Omg it was so good. A glass of wine sealed the deal. Great views with floor to Ceiling windows.

    We had a wonderful Sunday brunch before heading to the Knight Theater for a 3:00 performance. Easy to get a reservation, light crowd, great food and jazz piano and base.

    It was our first time enjoying Mariposa,l and definitely will be returning! The food was fantastic from start to finish. Great ambiance, and our server was solid. The food quality was definitely the star.
