I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I must say, the experience was outstanding. The service from start to finish was truly amazing—friendly, attentive, and professional. The food was fantastic, with each dish prepared with care and great flavor. We tried the chocolate soufflé for dessert, which was good, though it could have been a bit richer to reach perfection. Still, it was a satisfying end to the meal. One of the highlights of the evening was the bar experience. If you’re dining with your partner and don’t mind sitting at the bar, I highly recommend it. The service there was exceptional—efficient, warm, and personalized. The drinks were also a standout—well-crafted and delicious. Overall, this place is a definite go-to. Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner or just a great night out with excellent food and drinks, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended!

Outstanding food and dining experience that lived up to everything we were told before arriving. The portion sizes are on par with every other fine dining restaurant so no surprise there. The composition of the ingredients was perfect and drinks were very good too. If you are looking for an excellent meal away from all the chain restaurants, this is it.

An unforgettable meal—nearly perfect. The food was incredible, starting with the complimentary bread and bacalao chips—an unexpected treat. The drinks were excellent, the ceviche special was out of this world, and the lump crab appetizers were equally impressive. We had the bacalao (cod) served with white rice pegado—absolutely 10/10. The service was warm and attentive—Stephanie and the rest of the team took great care of us. Our only disappointment was the restaurant’s decision to allow a couple to seat their 16-year-old pet dog at the table, in a cloth chair, as if it were a human guest. As someone who works in accessibility, I can say with confidence this was not a service animal. The man fed the dog by hand and then licked his fingers before continuing his own meal. While the dog was well-behaved, the choice to permit this detracted from an otherwise exceptional experience. If the restaurant allows non-service animals to dine at the table, it should be clearly stated—so diners can make an informed choice.

Great location in Condado. Service was superior from the moment we walked in. The cocktails were amazing. The staff is very well coordinated. Everyone pitches in to help with the tables. Great teamwork is really fun to see, especially in a hospitality environment. The food was so good! I had a double pork chop with a guava glaze and fufu. It was cooked to the doneness I requested. Wonderful! My wife had the chicken empanada. We also had a great and fresh arugula salad. They brought out bacalaitos and bread. Great way to start the meal. The bacalaitos were crispy and the bread was hot and served with herbed butter. Our server then surprised us with soursop sorbet. It was really good and just the right touch to finish an amazing meal. We will definitely be back to Mario Pagan’s. If you are looking for a truly wonderful dining experience in Condado, I recommend making a reservation. You’ll be glad you did.

Kevin & Israel the bartenders are absolutely amazing!! Great drink, wine & food suggestions! The sea bass with foie Grau is delicious. The bread and fish chips are good enough to be a meal. Please don’t miss this place! Make a reservation though even a lowly Tuesday, busy because it’s a foodie destination for sure.

Amazing experience. What a wonderful way to try a twist on cultural dishes blended with a Mediterranean style. Our waitress was so helpful, she reviewed all my allergies and sensitivities with the chef and they made an amazing meal for me. I was too full for dessert, but they even had fresh sorbet options that were dairy free too.
