Marinitas is always a favorite place - fun atmosphere, great food and service.

Margaritas: they offer four kinds. We have only tried two so far, but they are both excellent. The Supremo and the Deluxe are relaxing and fun. We started with tostaditas, salmon on tortilla chips, which were nicely surprising. My wife had the shrimp tacos and I had the vegetarian plate. We can recommend either. The vegetarian plate offers many different tastes. It's not low calorie due to the cheese, but it doesn't leave you bloated from too much rice and beans. We enjoyed it all and the server was very attentive.

Extremely busy night so service was a bit uneven, but food was good and servers were friendly. We were not rushed.

I am not in favor of sports Tv all over the place and yet when I went there were 2 TVs on at the bar but the huge pull down Tv in the dinning area was not on which made me very happy.

Love us some Marinitas. Do NOT understand why people stand in line at Sol Food for rice beans and wet chicken when Marinitas is right down the road.

food is straight forward with good margaritas. Works for families/kids. Can get crowded and noisy - plan ahead

For an upscale Mexican menu we were underwhelmed. My shrimp tacos were great but my husband’s dinner of the seafood stew was not that great. The sauce was like a poblano mole. Too intense for the seafood which you couldn’t taste and the shrimp and calamari in the dish were over cooked. The service was great and the ambience was warm and inviting but I would recommend other Mexican restaurants over this one.

Food is always great. Love the chicken and potato tacos, so much so that we come back and deal with the poor service. Would be back more often if the service wasn’t so bad.

One of our favorite restaurants in Marin. Off night with really bad service - which has NEVER happened there before so we will be back again.

Our server was extremely inattentive, didn’t get our order close to right, failed to apologize for his mistakes, and didn’t offer to correct them. We got the wrong beer, didn’t get one appetizer we ordered, received one we did not order, and yet our server did nothing to make the situation right! And, we were one of a couple of tables there, so it wasn’t as if he was busy. He never brought water after we asked twice.

I'm never disappointed at Marinitas. The food is always excellent, authentic and inventive. The service is attentive and fun. Marinitas never misses!

We love Marinitas...it can be a bit noisy but that wouldn't stop us. The fishing shrimp tacos and salmon and guacamole and Margaritas were all superb.

A longstanding favorite restauarant. Yes, it's noisy. But the food is delightful, and a little bit of tequila is a nice remedy for anything you are carrying from a busy day.

Marinita's is a fun, warm addition to our San Anselmo scene. Food is fresh, a few TV screens are going for us sports fans and service is always friendly.

We keep coming back, it's become a local favorite! My date always gets the Ceviche Trio, I've tried nearly everything on the menu. It's always good here!

The staff was gracious and seated s in a quiet spot as we requested. The food was delicious and the four of us had plenty of time to visit and catch up. We were not rushed or interrupted. I'd definitely go back!

Marinitas is one of our favorite places. We had requested to be on the edge so it would be easier to talk. The table that was planned for us wasn't vacated in a timely manner so the hostess found us another great table. We like everything about the restaurant and shall return!

It may be loud at Marinitas on the weekends, but the food and service and margaritas are always excellent. And if for some reason you have room left after the ample portions, the desserts are awesome. I've been going there for several years and it is always excellent.

Noisy on a Saturday. Tacos and churros were good, but not quite as good as I remembered them from a few years ago.

The restaurant is way too noisy! Won't be back for a long time.

Our second time here and it was even better than the first. I had the same dish, the Tinga, and it was out of this world. Service was perfect, margaritas delicious, and we had a fun evening.

I did not check the bill before signing it, and found we were overcharged for several items. I went back the following day with the receipts, and they were very nice, believed me, and gave me back the difference.
This is a favorite local restaurant, the food is consistently good, and decor most interesting.

They seem to try to turn tables over quite quickly. In all of the years I've gone there, they always bring the next course before the previous course is done - a huge pet peeve. And they bring the bill before asking if you would like anything else. The food is good, but the service needs help.
