   The meal was fantastic, good food which hit the spot. Chicken and sticky toffee pudding was the choices of the evening and it was delicious. Service was also fantastic, very polite and attentive team.

   Marius deserves a special mention for providing energy to his role as waiter. I observed him serving most of the tables from the kitchen and he did this with passion, energy and enthusiasm. However, he was the only member of staff there that appeared to enjoy his work in the hospitality industry. The rest of the staff provided average service. Looking on the website there was visibly two bar supervisors present walking the floor also. There was no attempt from any staff to ask us if we wanted more drinks during our meal or if everything was ok. Despite the average service (excellent from Marius) the food was positive. The worst bit was the children’s chicken goujons, there were so overcooked and dry. Luckily my 2 year old didn’t really notice but I tried one and they were terrible.

   We dined here during another stay at Portavadie and we were not disappointed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Every thing well presented and well cooked. We will definitely dine here again on our next visit 😊

   Spent the afternoon here with family. £330 spent between 4 people and were asked to vacate the table so they could lay it for dinner service when there was absolutely no one else around. Asked for 15mins more and still the answer was no. Very odd customer service and even more galling based on the expenditure!

   Beautiful location and restaurant. Unfortunately the food and service didn't live up to the to potential. Overcooked - Fish of the day was cod, this was overcooks plus my daughters had burgers from the adult menu which were almost cardboard. My wife's vegetarian curry was very good. Service: It took more than 30 mins between finishing our starters and main the course arriving, other tables had had arrived and eaten two courses before we had our mains.

   A great experience, efficient service and the food was good. The servers were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The food was lovely and the menu was varied and a fair price for the quality of the meal. Thank you for a lovely meal and service.

    Worst meal ever, had taken a friend as a thank you gift she drinks pino no pino in the restaurant! The meal was overcooked fish was dry absolutely disappointed complained and got a sorry but not sorry that's how it is the staff seemed over worked and asking for table water seemed to be a bother never again!
