Marigold Maison Lincolnshire
Whether you visit for a quick business lunch or celebrating a special occasion with friends and family, the staff at Marigold Maison will make sure your experience is memorable.
Some of the items are overpriced for the amount of food they give. For example the “butter” chicken was very sparse with the chicken for $18 an order
Met a friend for dinner after work on a Friday evening (6pm) upon arrival it was empty, only one other table sat and by the end of our dinner it was pretty busy. We started with samosas, which were good, not great - I think what really made it taste better was me over pouring the sauces brought to the table. We kept it pretty safe, chicken tikka and a spinach dish (not memorable) the fare was a great attempt at a tame Indian flavor. I have eaten at multiple restaurants, where I even come out smelling like I was in the kitchen, and here that was not the case. I appreciate the fact that I didn't have to air out and wash my coat but I definitely was expecting more spices, more flavor...
we went for a mother's day dinner. although the staff was good and service was also good. The food was very poor. There was no test and was served very cold, however the manager did try to help but by the time we were done with our dinner.
Delicious food and even great for kids! Best Indian food I've had north of Devon ave.
Food was delicious, flavors vary and veggy options full of flavor. Julio is our favorite server and his advice is always on target beit food or beers.
Our waiter was great. He answered any questions and made helpful suggestions. It was a wonderful meal. I highly recommend it.
We had a very nice dinner celebrating my daughter becoming a paralegal.
The portions are larger than average for the price and the ambience is quiet and service has been terrifically polite every time.
Don’t be scared of the spices! The food here is just delicious and not too spicy-hot.
A regular of ours.
Consistently good food and great service.
Refreshing to have more up-to-date decor in an Indian restaurant.
Love the food. Can’t be beat!!
Food is absolutely delicious, and server was knowledgeable and provided appropriate guidance about gluten free options. A little too pricey to eat here frequently, but nice for an occasional Saturday night or semi special occasion.
Good food, great service. Was a bit noisy.
We have sent friends already..
flavors are consistant and menu is expanding
The food and service at this restaurant are wonderful. Don’t be afraid to try this Indian restaurant, and don’t be overwhelmed by their extensive menu. They will help you order. And there is something for everyone ‘s taste buds. We loved everything we ordered including the shrimp appetizer with three side sauces, the fresh and delicious mango salad, the wonderful lamb chops, the garlic nan, and our desserts. I had an Indian carrot dessert, and my husband had the American lava cake. We both enjoyed our choices. And the bottle of pinot noir from France was unusual (in a good way), and it didn’t break the bank! You must try this restaurant!
Table service was efficient and polite.
The food selection is far above the usual menu we’ve experienced elsewhere.
We had a really good meal. The food was excellently prepared and tasty. Potions were good size and value compared to other Indian restaurants. Very attractive design and ambience.
Great Indian restaurant in Lincolnshire! Would highly recommend.
Fantastic sampling of Indian food. Date had never had any and I was able to introduce her to a new Cuisine and items she would not normally eat. Service was fantastic and the food was delicious.
Great food & service!
Most of our party enjoyed the lunch sampler platters - and are ready to schedule a return lunch next month. Big shout out to our waiter, Jason, and the gals who assisted him: very attentive to our group during a busy lunch time with other large parties.
Thank you, Marigold Maison, for a delicious taste of India!! See you soon!!
Great food. Superb and fast service.
Good food/drinks and attentive staff. Enjoyed our experience
100 percent wonderful. We've been to Marigold about a half dozen times. For starters the hand crafted sweet sodas are delicious. The appetizers and entrees (lamb chops a specialty and favorite) disappoint. Excellent selection of delicious appetizers and entrees. Birani the best with jasmine or some exotic rice stuffed with lamb and vegetables. Mango ice cream and chocolate lava desserts are a perfect ending.
I LOVE Marigold Maison. But not sure what happened this time. Took my party of 10 there and they were closed. The weather has been up and down in our area which maybe the reason, but would have preferred a phone call saying they couldn't accommodate our reservation.
The food was delicious! The person I went with wasn't sure what to order, and the waiter gave a great recommendation. She got the Manchurian with cauliflower, and I got the Saag Paneer with the spicy naan. Everything tasted great! I've already suggested this place to some coworkers for the next time we're in town.
This was our first time at the Marigold and it did live up to our expectations. We enjoyed the shrimp curry dinner as well as a delicious samosa and traditiional naan. Service was pleasant, efficient and informative. We will definitely return as there are many more dishes we would like to try!!
Food was delicious and exactly what i was looking for. Good curry and rice with a wide variety of add ons
Food was excellent and service highly attentive- will definitely be going back again
Maison Marigold exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in and ordered a drink at the bar until we paid the check - service, food, and drinks were outstanding. Fresh, authentic cuisine. Especially loved the Samosa Chaat appetizer. Tikka Masala was delicious as well as the Classic Curry with lamb. Next time I'll try the Marigold Biryani and the Paneer Pakora.
Fresh and authentic. Quality of ingredients and portion size is really good.
We have visited several time and I thought I would write a review-
The room at Marigold is very pleasant and comfortable, they have comfortable seating- never cramming you into something too small. The hostess and waitstaff are always professional and courteous but also warm and friendly, consistently. The food is always very, very good here and the menu is varied enough that all would be happy. We always get samosa's and they are fresh and crispy with terrific sauces (obviously homemade) and a good start. We usually have chicken tika masala, manchurian cauliflower (a little spicy and very flavorful) and a biryani dish as well. We also have naan, regular and garlic and it is always right out of the oven- perfect. There are several choices for Indian cuisine in the area and they are all very good- but I think that Marigold is the best- the best food, the best service and the best room (by far). It is a great place to try out Indian cuisine as well as expanding your tastes into Manchurian and exploring the menus more.
Very good food!!
Poor Service-first server left, someone else took over. Didn’t get adequate service.
Food was cold. Seems like the chef made it and they forgot to bring it out. Naan was chewy.
Would definitely not recommend it to anyone!!
Outstanding food and service!! We will be coming back again and again.
Best samosas I have even eaten. I had the shrimp tikka masala and although the portion was small it was delicious. Hubby had the shrimp vindaloo and it wasn’t spicy enough for him. They actually offered to remake it. He took part of it home with the extra spice and loved it
High priced for the portions
Burned naan bread
Not sure if I will return
we went yesterday with my friends to have lunch ,we are 5 friends and This Person Jason (who works in the restaurant )came up for the order we have asked some time to decide meanwhile we asked for warm water instead of freezing cold water he said they will charge extra for it. It was so unfair to the customers and when we ordered Veg Thali (food was not that great could have been better )we asked for pickle which he says they charge Extra for that too.It was totally bad experience to go to the restaurant. Please management change the rules and people who works for you to get more customers. There are hundreds of places to go.
The food was very tasty, next time I would ask for them to add more heat to some of the dishes. Menu is a bit limited compared to other Indian restaurants. We had a nice time and would definitely go back again.
I love this place. You can't go wrong. The food is amazing, service is great.and love the all you can eat Thali platter
