Interesting menu with a wide selection.. Tartare was very good and the pot pie got a positive review. Lovely wine menu. Only down side was the charred broccolini, which need a little more flavor

Congratulations- Marigold is a great addition to downtown! The only negative is the noise level. You were only about 1/2 full and conversation was a little hard. But every thing else was fabulous!

When i made the reservation it chose “bar” when i got there they were literally at the bar not at a table in the bar. It was a quiet Sunday night so they could reseat us, but 4 people at the bar isn’t really close conducive for conversation. Beyond that little snafu our server was super awesome, the drinks wine and beer were superb. Food was delicious. The salad that starts with a p is incredible. Pork croquettes were delicious (but they were truly just a vehicle for the incredible dipping sauce underneath. Delicious!

The service was good, though we had an empty wine glass for a while. The steak tartare was very good. The falafel scotch egg was OK, I guess we like traditional scotch eggs better. The shrimp curry was good, our server told us it would not be spicy. But the baked oysters were a disappointment, it was hard to find the oysters or the bacon. The sticky toffee pudding was OK, a little dry and could’ve used more of the sauce.

We had a party of 3 and the bill was $250. One drink each, 1 main course, and no desserts. For a restaurant that I would consider High End I felt the service was far too casual. The staff was overwhelmingly young and I believe they just had no concept of the expectations and service of fine dining. A number of items were unavailable as well. Would probably not return.

Third time at Marigold and it's been great every time. The pot pies are always great, butter chicken is phenomenal, and the pachadi salad & lamb ribs are must try apps. Will definitely be returning. Oh and definitely get a Pimm's Cup or two!

We were celebrating our anniversary and picked this restaurant for dinner. Was excited about the menu. After confirming I was a pescatarian and don’t eat meat our server recommended their Mussels as an appetizer. It came out with meat which I realized a few pieces in. They said ‘sorry miss my bad’. And that was it. No replacement dish, did not take it off our bill. Said our dessert was on the house - which I wonder would’ve been the case anyways because of the celebration? Malabar shrimp was v bland and loaded with cream. Their sourdough naan and Sticky toffee pudding were delicious and the ambience did not fail. Too bad the food wasn’t great, I like the concept, the ambience and the menu.
