Riccardo and Marybeth welcome you to their 3rd property, Maribella Ristorante. Opening R Wine Bar & Kitchen in 2018, R Catering in 2021, and Brix Wine Bar in 2022, they have created a culture of hospitality for guests who feel like family. Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and moved to Boston when he was 5-years-old. He stayed in the Boston area for college and attended Tufts University. Marybeth, born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD, moved to Boston to be a nanny and went to Somerville School of Nursing. The two met in Medford, MA, dated and became engaged in Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard in 1996. Relocating to Sioux Falls, SD in 1999, Riccardo and Marybeth have developed a reputation for making people feel welcome with their three boys, Dante, Berent, and Jaxon. Together with their hand-picked team, Riccardo and Marybeth bring the best parts of hospitality to life in their restaurants, for both their staff and guests.     Our server, Lucas, did an outstanding job, as he always does. He picked the perfect bottle of wine for us and the pork showdown dish is superb! A winner did us, hands down

    Went for my birthday with my parents and everything was top notch. From appetizers to supper to dessert, it was incredible. Our food came out extremely fast with incredible presentation and taste! HIGHLY recommended

    The food was delicious. We loved the ambience. We also received amazing service. It is very difficult to have a conversation in there when the place is full. If you are looking for a quieter experience perhaps don't go during peek times.

    My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and we had reservations for 8:15 and walked in a little early and noticed how loud it was in the restaurant and due to my hearing I knew it would not be a conducive environment for me. We told the hostess that it was too loud for us and wondered about sitting outside and she said it was full, offered to walk us to Brix Wine Bar to see if they had any tables available, they were full but they did have outside sitting available and we were still able to order off Maribella’s full menu. The service was excellent and we were basically sitting outside by ourselves. I ordered the tomahawk which was a special dish for the pork showdown and it was excellent. My wife ordered the risotto di mare and it was also very good, but the downfall was it was supposedly to also have scallops (which is her favorite) but only had one. Otherwise, the food, wine, dessert and service was great.

    Abdal was our sweet waiter, and gave me a wonderful wine recommendation based on my preferences. They were out of calamari so we went with the arancini…excellent choice!! I had the Nero (squid ink fettuccini with scallops). The entire meal made me dance in my seat, and I was only upset that I couldn’t finish it due to being full. The entree took awhile to come out but they were very busy and did apologize for the wait. We are outside and the ambiance was perfect. 10/10 would recommend.

    I'm not sure which was better- the food or Brittany's service. We ordered the oso bucco and the branzino and both were wonderfully prepared. We also had the arancini, a dish we always wanted to try. If all arancini is like this, then we have been missing out at other restaurants. So smooth and creamy. Brittany knows just when to appear at a table and when to leave people alone so they can chat. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

    The food and service were exceptional! Our waitress was not overly concerning but just enough to be there if we needed something. Atmosphere was very nice and comfortable. we will definitely be back and will recommend them to friends.

    Love this place. The food is exquisite, the servers are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. It is very hard to have conversations though due to the noise level. That is my only complaint.

    We had an amazing dining experience! The service was top notch with our server proving us with excellent recommendations on both door and wine. She not only provided recommendations on choices but also provided the history of where the food and wine originated. The food was excellent in in presentation and flavor. Will definitely return!

    Our party of 6 had a fabulous experience for dinner last night! Our waitress Maddie was exceptionally good---helping us select a very good wine, salads and main courses. I would highly recommend trying Maribella's for authentic Italian dining night out!!

    We were visiting Sioux Falls and found Maribella on the Open Table app. We had such a lovely evening. Our server, Anna was friendly yet unintrusive. The food was amazing. The time between our appetizers and our main course was timed perfectly to allow us to savour everything and enjoy our wine.

    Great friendly service. Food was really good Overall, little overpriced and portions are small. It is hard to hold a conversation If you’re sitting across the table from somebody the noise of everybody else talking is a little louder than I would want it to be. Great experience would probably only go back for special occasions.

    Consistently amazing meals. In addition to the food, the staff at Maribella is truly second to none. They are all engaging with smiles, helpful, and treat guests better than I have ever seen. It’s no wonder that when we had to choose a favorite place for last night’s milestone birthday celebration, it was here.

    Ask for a booth if you want quieter dining experience. Maddie was our waitress & she is very good at explaining the menu, checking in often to see if anything needed. The other wait staff was friendly. The house made gluten free pasta was excellent. Highly recommend.

    What a wonderful restaurant! Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. The presentation of each of our dishes was beautiful. My husband’s and my pasta dishes were good but not outstanding, but my friends pizza was superb as was the gnocchi. Will definitely recommend the place and will definitely return!

    We brought our adult children here to celebrate a couple birthdays. We all tried different items off the menu-EVERYTHING was excellent! Our server Jeb was also great! Thank you for a fun night for our family.

    The service was first class and the food was outstanding!! My wife had the Cacio E Pepe which she exclaimed was the best this side of Florence. I had the Nero which is a squid ink fettuccine serviced with fresh Scallops in a lemon garlic sauce. The pasta is made on site and my Nero was delicious. If you are looking for an outstanding dining experience then Maribella is a must Jay and Sue

    We had a fantastic experience starting at Brix Wine bar all the way through dinner at Maribella’s. The customer service from the host, bartenders, servers to the owners was outstanding. The food, wine & drinks were delicious! We will be back very soon!

    It is a beautiful building and space! We waited a long time to be served and for our food. It was all a little too spicy. We celebrated a birthday and they were so kind about that giving us a gift card. Overall, we are glad that we experienced it but probably won't make a second appearance.

    Delicious Italian food made with high quality ingredients. Service was impeccable. Maddie was knowledgeable of the menu and preparation in order for us to make the best choices. Warm and inviting, we were able to hold a conversation as well.
