   We had a funny and energetic waiter who entertained us and made us laugh. The food was good, as usual and we enjoyed the bottle of wine recommended. My husband loves the carbonara and stuck with that, my favorite is the penne vodka but I I strayed and had the filet which was good too...that said, it’s penne next time.

   This is the second time in 3 months that the restaurant did NOT have any record of my open table reservation. Both times we were seated at a table promptly. I would recommend that you book with open table and then call to confirm your reservation.

   Our server Cristian was fantastic and the pasta dishes we all ordered were amazing and fairly priced. Good Italian wine as well! 100% will be returning soon

   1st time & the last time we'll go here. I made reservations on Open Table, got to the restaurant, there was no reservation. I showed the hostess my email confirmation & she said they haven't set up Open Table on their ipad yet, only Yelp & she also said she could transfer it over, whatever that means. We DID NOT earn points for using the ap & by the time she seated us I just let it go cuz we could hardly understand her (not very good English). Everything just got even worse from there! My chopped salad was full of red cabbage, hardly any greens & the dressing was so sweet I couldn't eat it all. The ceasar salad had no dressing on it & the lump of dressing that was brought to us tasted like mayo & a ton of anchovies, it was awful! The minestrone soup tasted like it came from a can, was not offered any cheese nor did it come with it on it. So, we're thinking how much worse can this get. OMG! Lasagna was full of cheese, big globs of it. Husband asked if they could do a chicken fettuccine with creme sauce, angel hair pasta & mushrooms. It was so bland. No amount of salt/pepper & graded parmessan cheese made it any better. They charged us $20 for it to. We are so disgusted & disappointed! The only good thing was our server, but the other wait person was running back & forth to his tables he was waiting on, which was pretty distracting. I'm not kidding! He ran the whole time! Never have we seen a wait person running. There was no reason to. There will be no second chance!

   Really great local spot and I was impressed with the quality of food compared to other Italian restaurants in Renton. The staff was wonderful and very attentive even though we were there on a busy night (Valentine's day). The spaghetti carbonara had an elevated taste and wasn't just a slop of cream sauce. Their garlic cheese bread was deliciously cheesy and the garlic-infused olive oil was the highlight! Seriously delicious with lots of garlic and spices - I may have eaten a spoonful on its own. We will go back.

   Booked via opentable yet no record of our reservation when we arrive. The hostess told us “open table does not work but the owner wants us to use it”. Food is outstanding, wait staff are a disaster. Our apatizer never came. Two of the three salads came out followed by the third but only after 2 of us were alreqdy done. Go for the food but expect horiable experience from the staff.

   Fabulous food, too many large parties tonight. Normally they are super spot on! But got a little behind this time. Food makes up for it every time!!

    I love the food at Marianna. It really is good, and have been many times. I took my office there for lunch and the place was extremely quiet, only one other table in their "back room." I suspect I know why. They can't turn a table for lunch in under an hour,if you are trying to have a work lunch and have to get back, forget about it! It took us 1 1/2 hours for a lunch, and, remember, we really were the only table there. The other issue I have is that I asked about the "lunch combo" Spaghetti. The waiter said I could simply add meatballs to the Menu item one to have the same dish, without the accompanying salad/soup and coffee/soda. What he didn't tell me was that the cost was the same and for 2 small meatballs, it was an extra $3.50. I would also like to update this review by saying that I used the feature to send a comment to the restaurant and left my email address for contact. I was never contacted by the restaurant to address my concerns. It tells me they don't really care. As a result, i am downgrading my review to 2 stars. Perhaps they were more concerned about their one other table.... I honestly haven't been back since, and I really did like their food previously, but this whole experience has turned me off and I choose to spend my $$ elsewhere. There are several good choices in town. :(
