One persons coffee order was wrong twice and I asked for extra hot coffee but it was only just warm. All three of us thought it wasn’t hot enough anyway. Food alright. Not a bad place but not hot coffee is just my bugbear!

Easy to book online, friendly staff. service was efficient, lovely ambiance with choice of seating, inside or outside (front) very nice seating area outside at the rear. Food was great and really enjoyed the hot chocolate. Only downside was was one table which had some quite noisy children

I have been to Maria previously and was very impressed - last visit was disappointing - there appeared to be a major shift towards a certain demographic of food choices Having worked in hospitality and understand how difficult it is to create a variety of choices for all the different requirements of individual diners. That said the service was very good - just not a lot of choices

We had the Banana & Date Smoothie Bowl and it was exceptional! It had so many flavours and was very filling. We didnt need to have lunch later that day. We also asked for an extra hot Coffee and this was provided no problem. We have never had a bad meal from Maria, well done guys!

Maria Cafe Upwey has the best food. The Baked Apple porridge with mascarpone was excellent. The coffee was nice and strong though it could have been served hotter. That was my bad for not requesting it to be extra hot. The staff are always helpful and attentive. We’ve been there several times and it never disappoints.

From the moment we walked in the staff were great, Menu very exciting to look at and even better to eat. We ate the omlette, Baked eggs, Avo and eggs and crumpets, all amazing. Little bit spicy, beautiful. look forward to my next birthday breakfast paid by the kids if not sooner.

We were seated for 20min before even approached to take a drink order let alone our food order. Then when our food came you forgot one of our meals and had to retake their order which arrived after everyone else had finished their meals. There was a hair in one of the meals and you charge $5.50 for 2 pieces of bacon and not even middle bacon where you get the whole rash literally just the short cut section. Very disappointing and will not be returning

We found Maria Cafe to be very pleasant and friendly. The service was excellant. Unfortuneately, we chose to have the waffles and chicken. Chicken was cooked nicely, however the waffles were extremely oily as they had been deep fried and had retained much of the cooking oil. The presentation of the food was very good.
