Open Table booked our reservation but we found the restaurant closed up for a Saturday evening. The place looks charming and I’m disappointed by the failed communication between OT and the business.

The restaurant is closed , yet I was in the reservation list for over a month how is it possible that there is not any kind of notification?!!!

Excellent food and great atmosphere. So bad they are closing. Hopefully they will reopen in DC or Virginia anytime soon!

Overall terrible experience. Encountered rude service upon arrival and was rushed out of the restaurant with no warning (the check was left at our table while we were still eating our main course). They really seem to not care now they’re closing.

We dined here on a cold winter night in DC and this food is the comfort food you want for that weather! We did a late, lighter dinner and the dumplings were calling our name, so we got two varieties - the Potato Vareniki and Siberian Pelmeni with Pork & Beef. Both were amazing! We also had the Zucchini Pancakes, which were very tasty as well. Drinks & dessert also seemed like a must, so we did a Strawberry Lavender Martini and the Dachniy speciality cocktail. I loved the Dachniy! For dessert we were almost too full and did the Kartoshka, which were quite sizable for cake truffles. I would definitely come back again!

Anniversary dinner.... nice atmosphere..... but they only had one,,, that’s right one waiter working the entire 3rd floor. As you can imagine the service was terrible. We waited forever for service. After 2 hours, of only having eaten an appetizer and salad, I asked if our entrée had been put in… the answer was no, so we left. Awful experience. AVOID
