   Looks like an event space for the young. Too many very loud renderings of Russian (we assumed) happy birthday, so conversation was constantly interrupted. Service was slow and apple pie a la mode required an extra 15 minutes wait time for dessert(?). We knew the restaurant was expensive, but were surprised by the 3.5% charge if using a credit card. The food is excellent, but definitely skip dessert. We've tried 3 (not the apple pie) and they were all (at best) mediocre and therefore way over-priced.

   We went to Mari Vanna and had an absolutely wonderful experience, as always! The atmosphere is so charming and cozy, with authentic touches that make you feel right at home. Every dish we ordered was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The service was warm and attentive, which made the whole evening even more enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Russian cuisine in a lovely setting!

   A very charming restaurant with really excellent cuisine. Most unfortunately a large table if unbelievably boisterous people made it impossible to have a conversation. Will definitely go back - would love to be able to have full experience.

   We were basically asked to leave in the middle of dinner because our 2 hour window was almost over!

To ensure all guests enjoy their reserved tables in a timely manner, we do follow a 2-hour dining time policy, which is clearly communicated during the reservation process. In order for you to be seated on time, the guests before you had to finish a bit early — and the same courtesy is extended to the next party after yours. We always aim to balance a welcoming experience with a smooth flow for all our guests.    A definite “ must” experience. Can’t wait for my next visit ! Impossible to choose one menu selection over all others as they are all super delicious You need to try it all!!!

   Once upon a time, this was a nice place with an authentic old-world Russian vibe. It has since devolved into a pseudo-hip doucheteria where the music is too loud for conversation, the food is mid-range, the prices are high and the service is weak. So disappointing.

    We were pleasantly surprised and it was an excellent experience. Unique menu items with delicious food that was so good, but options for everyone. The atmosphere had a lot of energy in a dining room that had the unique decor of a Soviet home.
