   The music volume over lunch is WAY to high and conversations are difficult. If it was moderate and more in the background , the whole would be perfect.

   Absolutely wonderful. Service was outstanding as usual. Food was great. The borscht alone could be an entree. Full of flavor. The chicken Kiev was perfect as always. Great venue and decor.

   Vibes were good. However the servers seemed to discriminate. We were the only Asian people there. I ordered a happy hour beer and it wouldn’t come out for 20 min while other people were being served so we asked two other waiters and finally got it. Up til then I was like this is fine. But I ordered a second happy hour beer and it was not coming out so I called the bartender and asked. He rolled his eyes and were like I already have you one. So I told him we ordered a second one. And he makes a rudest face and jump slides the beer over. Then he goes over to the white girl sitting next to me and leans in with a smile and was so generous and nice. It was very rude and disrespectful.

   They didn’t have my reservation, so no table when we arrived. They brought the food out piecemeal rather than at once so we couldn’t eat together (at the same time) or else food would get cold.

   What a lovely place! The food was great! I went for a classic, Beef Stroganoff, and it hit the spot. I would definitely recommend Mari Vanna to friends.

   Met two friends here for lunch and each of our dishes was delicious. Service was also attentive and we had a lot of privacy for conversation in the upstairs area. Cute place. Love that we have a Russian cuisine option in this neighborhood.

   Excellent Russian food, I love this place. Only minor issue is I wish the restaurant was quieter.

    Service was friendly and attentive and the food was fantastic, especially the dumplings. Portion size was just right. The house infused vodkas are delicious and I wish I could have tried them all. But the decor and ambiance was my favorite part of the dining experience. It’s very quirky and cozy, and even though it was busy when we went, the noise levels were not amplified as they are in many restaurants. Menu prices were about what I would expect for a restaurant of its size, location and quality. Our bill was actually a little lower than I expected it would be going in. It is a great find and I look forward to eating there again soon.
