Margeaux Supper Parlor presents a novel way to experience dinner by telling stories through cuisine. Guests are encouraged to order a themed trio of dishes, larger than tapas and smaller than big plates, to better experience the menu and recreate the familial bonhomie we associate with supper at grandma’s (when you were urged to try a bite of everything!).
Recommended wine pairings are served in collections to mirror the entree trios.

Margeaux Supper Parlor serves New American cuisine, blending dishes inspired by the two most historic port cities in the country: New Orleans and Boston. Dinner plates include: Tomato & Bacon Jam Deviled Eggs (topped with a fried Maine oyster), Lamb Lollipops with cherry reduction, Pumpkin Ravioli, Beef Wellington, Shrimp & Boursin Grits, and Maple Bourbon Steak Tips.

Brunch is also served in themed collections and includes items such as: Quiche Lorraine, Fried Chicken & Sweet Corn Waffle, Eggs Benedict, and a Black Forrest Waffle.

Shelly now carries that torch, producing some of California’s most sought-after Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon. Not a great experience. We won't be going back. Nice space, but service was spotty and the food and presentation was meh. Firstly, they are in a very congested part of Cambridge, and they should advertise that diners can park at the plaza parking lot across the street. Our server had to explain the menu to us. If you have to explain it, that's a problem. The server forgot at least 2 things we ordered and we had to re-request the items multiple times. A wine that was offered by the glass was inexplicably not priced by the bottle on the menu, so we had to ask. Service was slow and we had to flag down our server several times. The food was just ok and, frankly, bland and overpriced. Only the deviled eggs were the least bit interesting. We ordered all small plates, and there was so much food on each of the small plates that the presentation was clunky at best, and, frankly, unappealing. Small plates means a small serving, but it should be displayed tastefully. All in all, this was a rather poor experience and we won't come back. Too bad.

Margeaux Supper is a great place for brunch as well as supper. The avocado toast is the best I've ever eaten. The atmosphere is lovely and having small and large options for many of the dishes allows you to multiple choices.

I took my partner out to celebrate and had the pleasure of choosing the coastal tasting, him the fork and knife. We also had the charcuterie to start, and thankfully it wasn’t too heavy before the meal. This really saved me, because I needed a place short notice. It was delicious, with great service.

The service was noteworthy for being very good, not just our waiter but the whole team was very observant about the little things. and also unobtrusive. Food was excellent. The bar on a Saturday night was busy and we were glad they accommodated our request for a table further away from the chatter.
