   Dinner was nice at a previous visit, but the brunch was terrible. All entrees I tried were sub-par, I had to send the omelette back.

   The atmosphere and ambiance are top notch. The food is very good - menu not too overwhelming. The server was friendly helpful and not over bearing. We have been here before for celebrations and will return. The only hiccup we had that bears mention is the young lady seating us had no sense of space and walked us around a pole twice to attempt to seat us in a corner about 12” away from a loud party of six drinking loud females. We asked to be seated elsewhere and were told no because there were “other reservations “ - we had made ours more than a week ahead of time so it felt like a negotiation. I spoke with someone else and we were accommodated with some standing around. So they earned all 5 stars except for that issue - I realize staffing is hard now but the person seating guests establishes a first impression and additional training on the hospitality side clearly needs to be done. We will be back regardless.

   This was our second time to dine at Margaux. First time was great! Tonight—not so much. We ordered the fish special—but we each had different sides. One entree came as ordered. Mine did not. An entree I did not order was brought to the table. They also brought one of the sides I ordered with the fish entree. I told them the order was wrong. I was supposed to have the Amberjack special as well. They take the wrong entree back to the kitchen. After my husband had eaten half of his dinner, I am told that they are out of Amberjack. We arrived at 6pm. Ordered the scallops. My husband has finished his meal when the scallops arrive. Margaux’s did take the Amberjack entree off of our bill but charged me for the side that was part of the original entree. After receiving our adjusted bill, we did not see the server or anyone else again. I left a note on the bill stating we would not return. I left my telephone number should someone wish to call and apologize for our less than desirable dining experience.

   Had dinner with 2 friends on a Wednesday night. Food was excellent and our server was very attentive and helpful. Only criticism is the noise level- it was a little loud. Would definitely recommend and will dine there again.

   The service was subpar, food was not worth the money. it took 45 minutes to get out order out and the waiter didnt stop to check in at all. if you are spending that much money just go to Dauphins.

   We chose Margaux to celebrate my wife's birthday. She wanted lobster tails and this was the only restaurant that offered them as a side for steak. They accommodated her request for two tails plus a side which was perfect. Service was 10 stars on a scale of 5. Not only was it friendly and efficient it's great to see staff who truly enjoy their jobs. Nice to have some entertainment during dinner. Cocktails and food were excellent. All in all, a perfect evening.

    Food was tasty but luke warm at best. Atmosphere too bright, not cozy. The server (Somone) was AWESOME. All things considered, probably won't return.

    This was our first visit to Margaux and we were very pleased. The service was top notch, entrees were varied and unique. Our selections did not disappoint. We also had sweet potato creme brulee which was outstanding. The only thing missing with our pasta selections was bread to absorb all the yummy sauce.

    The overall experience was a good one and I will definitely be back. Like everyone post Covid they appear to be understaffed. The only negative was waiting for our drink order a good 20 minutes. The food definitely made up for that.

    Totally worthwhile visit, and will definitely be back. Everything we ordered was amazing. Great wine selection!! Our server, Michael, was fantastic. However, wish the manager on duty was a little more upbeat to match the rest of the staff.

    The Pepper jelly goat cheese grilled oysters were the best flavor sensation I have ever eaten. We ordered a sampler platter of all the flavors. Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The restaurant is charming with perfect ambient lighting. All of my photos were awesome. I had the fish of the day, snapper, which was cooked to perfection. My husband chose the Jubilee Grits because both of us wanted to try pimento cheese grits. It was fabulous! Margaux has REAL dry aged beef: you can see it in the cooler when you walk in. We would have chosen it today but it was a huge tomahawk steak. We WILL order it next time. They also have a great bourbon selection

    Awkward server. Showed up for Valentine’s Day and they had limited prices fixe menu with no other options. $100 apiece. It was never advertised on opentable. Two small side salads $12 apiece outside the price fixe. All beer on tap was out too. Funky experience for the $$$$.

    This is a great place to eat in west Mobile. Definitely a step up from other restaurants in the local area. We have always been able to get a table. Met Margaux and her three children on our first visit.

    Our server Dalton was amazing! He was knowledgeable about the menu items. He was very helpful in making our dinner choices. Dalton made our night and visit to Margaux's outstanding. We would come back just to see him. The food wass good. We enjoyed our meals and drinks. Thank you for helping us celebrate a special friends birthday

    We were here for a birthday celebration and our experience was excellent - Larson was our waiter and he is absolutely the best ever! We never had to wait for service, he checked on us to see if anything was required and was very attentive to our needs. This was our second visit and we will come back soon.

    Our server was so kind and great at her job. but the food was definitely disappointing. my bf got the filet and I got the ribeye, definitely not worth $40 each. They had no flavor. The oysters were good but very small and not worth $35. The cocktail was way too strong so I sent it back and got another one and it was not good. It’s frustrating paying $200 to a dinner that you nor your bf enjoyed.

    Our server, Michael was very attentive and sweet. We were a party of 7 and he took excellent care of us. I have been to the restaurant several times and the food, atmosphere and service has been exemplary every time.

    The food was delicious. It could’ve been hotter in temperature. The food was very flavorful. We had an excellent waiter John . He kept checking on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. The only con was that we weren’t able to try the oysters due to the oyster opener being broken however we tried the fish dip and it was amazing !

    We did not know what to expect from this restaurant. We dressed up (I wore a dress, hubby wore a sweater and khakis) because of the prices. However, you do not have to. I expected it to be a “fancy”, low light, romantic, but it was kinda like a Longhorns. There was live entertainment which was very nice. The other guests in the restaurant were very loud. We ordered drinks, an appetizer and two entrees. We ordered the Holiday cosmo and Blueberry jalapeño mojito. Both drinks were great and you could taste the alcohol. We ordered the Crawfish & Corn Beignets and they were more like hushpuppies but very good! For our entrees, we ordered the Creole Seafood Bucatini and Monté Au Beer Chicken. Both tasted amazing and were great value for the price! Overall, I hope this restaurant last especially since this location seems to be cursed!

    I ordered the dry aged steak of the day as my main course. The steak was a lean New York Strip. I found it a bit dry and not worth the extra $6 that a ribeye costs. My wife had the catch of the day, which was swordfish and she found it a bit salty.

    We went on Thursday night at 6 PM. The restaurant wasn't crowded. Two of us had the creole seafood pasta and two had the ribeye. Our waiter, Mason, seemed to have trouble remembering things because we had to remind him several times about various parts of our orders. He also used profanity while attending our table. Our food came out lukewarm at best. While the pasta dish had a flavorful sauce, it was overpowered by the amount and type of pasta it was served on, and the seafood was scarce. However, had the dish not had the amount of pasta, it would have at best been an appetizer sold at an entree price. The steaks were nothing special, especially for a $36 price tag. My takeaway was, just because you price the menu high it doesn't make the food good. It's a one and done for me and my group.

    New Year’s Eve $100 a person and my steak that I ordered medium came out still purple and lobster cold and chewy. They took the steak back and put it back on the grill only to return it with the middle still purple. Third attempt steak char on the steak burnt and steak well done. Manager unapologetic and condescending stated this table is the only table that complained all night. We weren’t even offered a free drink for the inconvenience. Will never be back. I wonder what restaurant will take over the building next because this one definitely won’t last.

    My husband and i went for NYE, while there was a limited menu. The grouper was the best I have ever had in my life! From the cucumber martini to the grilled Caesar salad, this was honestly the best meal I have ever had since moving to Mobile.
