   First visit for me (my partner suggested as she had been once before) and my first impression was WOW incredible ambiance! Our experience at Margaux Lounge was then enhanced when we met Alessio one of the owners who made the evening special, suggesting some great charcuterie and delicious cheeses matched with appropriate wine. Service was second to none, with polite and friendly staff. For me, this is the best place in Winchester to spend a nice evening as a couple or with friends/family or even a business lunch/dinner! Top notch! 👌🏻

   Although we were the only customers the place was delightful not too much piped music, food plentiful and delicious. Very pleasant member of staff, my son recommended this restaurant as he has been a number of times. Overall a great meal!

   A small corner of France has arrived in Winchester. This was our first trip to Margaux and we were not disappointed. The menu takes a bit of getting used to: you need to think differently to the typical starters, main course and dessert that would be normal on an evening out. At Margaux, the cheese and charcuterie are the main event. There are some non-cheese items on the menu, but these seem a little random and, although delicious, portion sizes were modest. A good wine list and great service on a busy Saturday evening were a welcome bonus. We’ll be back.

   I found Margaux Lounge online and read the reviews and thought I’d give it a go for a date night with my girlf. The reviews weren’t lying, it was fantastic. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left it felt very personal. Nothing was too much for the staff, they were very attentive, happy to help and what’s more they seemed happy to be there. The food was amazing. We have the cheese fondue and we could’ve eaten it twice, no thrice, times over! Thank you Margaux Lounge, we’ll be coming back for sure. 10/10

   A special day celebration and we could not have made a better choice. Great food and service with a free chauffeur service. Outstanding and we will be back.

   Retirement dinner for 6 on a Tuesday. First time there, service was excellent and attentive. Wine and cheese selection extensive, supplemented well by a good and unusual range of other starter/main type dishes (such as steak fondue-excellent dish). We had a very enjoyable experience and there are plenty more cheeses and wines I would go back to try on another visit.

    We all enjoyed our lunch, with particular highlights being the onion soup and the mushroom risotto. The staff were excellent and we thought that it was good value for money. Some more French and Italian background music might add to the ambiance.
