   I met some friends for dinner as they arrived from out of town. We had a fabulous meal and a special birthday dessert. With the sun shining through the beautiful windows, it was a little warm for my comfort. However, food and service were wonderful!

   In our recent stay at the JW, we had two breakfasts and one dinner at Margaux. Each experience was very good. The waitstaff was energetic and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was good, and on our second day we had made-to-order omelets which were excellent. Our dinners were expertly prepared and served. Overall highly satisfied.

   Lovely meal with two nieces. Our appetizer was outstanding. An onion Flatbread with luscious cheese and onions. I had a cup of French onion soup, which was, to me, just okay. The broth was watery. Our entrees were very good. Two of us had the half chicken and one had trout. All entrees were very good! We had a birthday to celebrate, so all had a special desert. Strawberry mousse cheescake and creme Brule. Server, Liz, did a great job attending to us. I would recommend this restaurant and would go back.

   Service was very personal. Jazz was our waitress. The cocktails were amazing. My husband had an Old Fashioned with bourbon and rum that he said was the best he has ever tasted.

   Beautiful spot with delicious food and friendly service. We especially enjoyed the cheese and charcuterie platter as well as the campanelle pasta with wild boar ragu! The homemade vanilla gelato was an excellent way to wrap up!

   Shared the $85 dollar baked shellfish with my husband. The broth had no flavor making for a very bland meal. Really not a French Bistro as advertised as very few French dishes on the menu

    Fave restaurant. Menu is not massive and food is the best quality and taste. My go to for events or just everyday dining. Staff is well trained in customer service for the most part. They can do without one of their rude bartenders, I won't share their name publicly.

    Ate at Margaux for Mother's Day Brunch for our first time dining. Atmosphere was excellent and staff were excellent. While I booked many weeks in advance, all I could get was near the end of the brunch schedule, so some food was starting to run out or be a little dry, but it was still top notch. Service speed was a touch slow and the buffet was not explained to us, so it was a little frustrating to find an entire meat section at another area of the restaurant that we didn't know was there/available. I know Mother's Day brunch was more extravagant than a typical Sunday Brunch but I would recommend and love to go again.

    Everyone gave us excellent service. Our waitress was the only person that we were dissatisfied with. She got our order wrong blamed us the customer that we did not order the beet salad when we had ordered 2 of them. Our whole party remembered the order and we were told quite firmly and rudely that we had not ordered it. We were disappointed because last time we were at Margeax in Mar 2022 our waitress had been one of the best.

    Bartenders choice was a wonderful pear martini, Michelle was a wonderful and knowledgeable waitstaff. Our meals were wonderful and enjoyed.

    We enjoyed our meal. The brussel sprouts appetizer was too salty, so we had to send it back. My wife had the trout and I had the pork chop. Both were very good. We didn't have dessert as we were full. Our server, Melissa, was excellent.

    Food was good for what it was, nothing special or exceptionally executed, just typical. Nothing that I would really go back for. Server was stretched and we waited a while for the check and between courses. Didn’t see server often, although she was sat across the restaurant.

    Some tables are nice, quiet, and near the outside wall; unfortunately there are some tables (for two) that are right in the main traffic-way and the noise and 'ambience' was quite poor. The food portions were small, especially for the price. Prices were high, especially for a glass of wine.

    The food was beautiful and well prepared. The service was a little slow, and the selection was less than I would have expected for 50 dollars a head- without cocktails. I will continue to look for a good Grand Rapids brunch buffet.

    I had the best steak I've ever had in my life. I've been to the chop house and Ruth Christ and their steaks didn't compare to Margaux's. It was a great dinning experience.

    Beautiful location and restaurant. The food was pricey and wasn't anything to write home about. We went for brunch and I ordered their hash option. It was 80% a pile of their "side" potatoes and then a very small portion of the actual hash. No way of adding extra meat/eggs.

    There was construction going on in the hotel, so that was a bit annoying. Everything else was great. Food was excellent. Host, manager, servers, all fantastic. It’s a beautiful space, too.

    Both the hostess Michelle, and our server Michelle were both excellent representatives for your business. Professional in every way. Our waitress was very polished, at ease with our group of 4 and offered numerous suggestions from drinks through desert. It was very expensive, but the atmosphere, food, and service made it seem painless. thanks John
