Went to Margaret’s on a Friday night, looking for a stylish place to eat, with great food and great wine. It’s certainly a very classy space, and when you come out of the elevators, the bar is an impressive and cool place to be. The food was outstanding, in particular the crispy octopus and the glazed duck. The service was very attentive, maybe a little overly attentive, but very pleasant and helpful. The only disappointment was that it lacked atmosphere. There were very few people there, and it felt like a hotel restaurant, which is maybe a strange thing to say about a restaurant that is in a hotel, but I just expected it to have a bit more buzz.

Went there for brunch with family who were staying there. It was pretty empty on Saturday at noon. Menu choices were limited. 3 of us ordered the Texas hash, which were overwhelmed by very large chunks of potatoes. Hash usually uses diced potatoes. These chunks were obviously to fill the bowl (not a "skillet" at all. Flavor was good but not at all what we were all expecting. And to make things worse, we were charged for 4 but only ordered and got 3! The restaurant is beautiful and nice view of downtown but food is mediocre and pricey!

Valet: Complimentary on a Wednesday night, unsure about weekends Staff: Very nice and friendly Waitstaff: Very nice. Food Choices: nice variety of quality and creative choices Ordered: 8oz steaks, pan seared halibut, and carpaccio. ----Steaks ordered medium rare, came out medium to no pink. Allergies: Allergies were requested on reservation. and confirmed by the waitstaff. ----However 2 of the 3 courses we ordered had the item we listed as allergic. That item not listed on the menu on either item ordered. Environment: It's nice and upscale. It does feel like you are in a hotel for sure, better or worse. Restaurant is on the 11th floor but the views are lacking. HIDDEN SERVICE CHARGES: Service Charge is added to the bill before you tip. Unsure if that goes to waitstaff/kitchen at all. PRICE: Can get the same or better elsewhere for less.

The food and service were incredible, as were the views of the Dallas skyline from the wraparound windows. I had the scallops over Gouda cheese grits sprinkled with pork belly bits and it was heavenly! We went back for breakfast and I had the lemon poppyseed and blueberry pancakes which may have been the best pancakes I’ve ever had in my life! This place is definitely worth a visit!

The restaurant would not seat us even though we had a reservation and the place was just about empty. We love Open Table for making reservations and think it's a great service. We made reservations for available time posted in Open Table for 2:30pm. We arrived at 2:25pm. There was no one at the host stand so we patiently waited until finally I went looking for anyone. There were patrons at the bar but no bartender. In the back service station I finally found someone and they asked "Can I help you?'" I told them my husband and I had reservations for 2 at 2:30pm through Open Table. The person said "Reservations?" Then another employee said that couldn't be since the place closes at 2pm. I showed that person my reservation confirmation through Open Table and that person said well we aren't open and that's not right. The second person was blaming me for my "error" for booking an available table through Open Table. I understand that not everything goes perfectly all of the time but do not blame me for something I had zero control over. This told us everything we needed to know about this new restaurant and we left and will not be back and we cannot recommend this restaurant to our friends who also were looking forward to trying it.

I shared a birthday lunch with my niece & we had the loveliest day. Elizabeth brought delicious ice cream to celebrate! This is a beautiful space with lots of light & nice design. Their downtown views are unsurpassed. Their version of French Onion soup is not to be missed. The chef is very focused on presentation - all plating is striking.

I thought about this for a few days before deciding to post. Maybe it was a bad night, but there were two things that really stood out, to where I will never go back, especially when 5 of us spent almost $1,200.00. The special was a lobster dish. I ordered it, and the tail was undercooked. I was at a table with 3 chefs, and they all agreed. I ate everything else, except for the undercooked lobster. I was asked by the server, and I told them that it was greatly undercooked, but as he could see the dish was enjoyed. No need for anything to be done. If he wanted, he could let the kitchen know so as another guest does not have a similar experience. He took it to the chef, and we all watched the chef pull out a flashlight and brush us off. The server returned, only to tell us the chef informed him that the lobster was fine and it is cooked sous vide to 128 degrees. Mind you, lobster should be opaque when cooked and around 140 degrees. No manager came over, and the chef did not come over either. Very disappointed in how this was handled. The other is that our server was still new to the job, and asked is if we wanted our braised short rib medium, as that is how the chef recommends it. We tried to ask him to clarify, but he was adamant on it. Not a big deal, but added to our negative experience. The rest of the food was actually decent, including the corn bread course with 5 different butters/spreads. But with a chef like that, and no manager coming over to even speak to us, I won't be returning.

The execution was not as refined as you would expect at this price point. The food was not hot on a few items, salad was drenched with dressing and the service felted rushed. Two entrees were impressive though and view is wonderful.

Beautiful view of the city. Outstanding old fashioned and our meal / appetizers were delicious. Our server was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. The GM introduced himself and wanted to ensure they meet our expectations. Highly recommended this restaurant.

We were pleasantly surprised at the lovely ambiance at Margaret's. Our server was cooperative, helpful and patient. We tried the lobster dumplings which are actually gnudi with lobster bisque sauce- very good. Then the Ricotta, stone fruit & beets salad. It was a bit bland and didn't quite come together as well as we had imagined, but fresh and nice. The Halibut with sweet corn purée, warm potato salad, brown butter crab, English peas was delightful. We also really enjoyed the strawberry rhubarb cobbler. Our cocktails were well made also. A delightful dinner.

Great design and expected JW Marriott vibe. Food was ok but overpriced. Steak was tough and chewy. Wine by glass was overpriced given prices by the bottle. Menu was hard to understand what you were ordering and was not clear. Waitress agreed and helped explain the food. Staff was not in sync yet and not communicating well. Wireless table lamps are very cool but weren't working. No one seemed to notice until it started getting dark. Views from inside and outside bars are amazing. We won't go back to restaurant to eat but might grab a cocktail to see the views.

Good food. Steak was overcooked but they cooked a new one for us. Service was a bit slow, however they just opened a few days prior so we gave them grace. Overall, a nice restaurant with good food options.
