We never venture to Dade county but needed to run an errand in Doral. After checking out some reviews for restaurants in the area we opted for Marfil. The food was exceptionally good. The grilled octopus with polenta appetizer was so delicious. Everything we had was just great. Don't miss out on "La Bola" dessert. What a delightful surprise. The service was another plus. Oriana was so wonderful that we will be coming back again and will specifically request a table with her.

I believe there was a staff of three on the floor. Our waitress was kind and attentive and that I am appreciative of. I however ordered the Branzino for my girlfriend in hopes to celebrate her 30th birthday.

We started with the seafood on fire, octopus definitely over cooked. I wouldn't order that one again, although the presentation was captivating.

The Branzino was Luke warm and the vegetables could have had more flavor although, the Luke warm salted vegetables sufficed after waiting for about 45mins for our main course. Reservations were for 8:30pm and we checked out at 10:00pm.

Visiting from Atlanta we are big foodies, I too working in the culinary field, it could have been a better food experience.

This was my first time at Marfil and definitely will not be my last! It was a great experience. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. The service was great and it’s such a nice local find. Highly recommend!

Great restaurant unassuming but great food, reasonable prices good service.

Parking is difficult but you can park in the back, the food was great, flavorful and well presented. The waiter was very attentive and the music with the live saxophone was excellent.

We had a great family dinner at Marfil Bistro. The food was delicious, the portions were generous but not overwhelming, just right. The staff was friendly, accommodating and very professional. The ambiance was upscale and the live entertainment ave it an additional touch of class. Would recommend, and will be coming back soon.

Took long to get check and change, and reservation did not mention fixed menu for valentine ! Portions were literally sample size, I had the croquettes (2 were serviced ) and they were literally the size of the tip of my thumb! The short rib was 2 pieces and portion size was a 1/4 the size of my palm. Food had a great taste but for almost a $100 fixed menu the portions were incredibly small. I’ve gotten more food on a McDonald’s happy meal!

Worst experience ever . I was planning this day for weeks with my husband and I got there and they had such a limited menu. Only 3 options of entree and 2 were fish, horrible. I couldn’t even order the dessert I wanted to. I’m not going anymore .

Excessively expensive! $ 250 for a starter, a main and a dessert, with a beer and a drink for two!

They had a limited menu supposedly due to the high volume expected, yet there were several empty tables. Was rushed to place the order including appetizers, entree, and dessert all together otherwise they couldn’t take our order. Hadn’t finished one plate and the next was already brought over, when we commented on the rush was given a sarcastic response about how if we wanted we could sit and listen to the music. The food was good but definitely the rushed experience along with the limited menu with included gratuity for a party of three was not appreciated
