    In a funky and cool hotel on Collins Ave, an art deco dream. Sitting on the terrace provided some cool ambiance. The waiters were very nice :) The cocktails were really great and looked super cool! Tapas were fun - especially the bone marrow which was really yummy. Afterward, you can walk by the pool and out by the beach - a Miami must!

    The food was spectacular. The Pulpo---octopus appetizer was amazing. The sauce, it was one of the best I have ever had. The Eggs Roti and the Cod Omelet was very tasty as well as the Kale salad and the Heirloom tomato salad. We attended for the Bark and Bubbles event to benefit the Humane Society so we had a party of 3 adults and 3 dogs. The staff were great and even had a doggy menu that my friend ordered for her dog Toby and he lapped it down. Thank you for your support of the Humane Society!!

    We went to Mareva for our final night in Miami Beach and it did not disappoint! We sat outside and had an amazing view of the long infinity pool. Even though it was the heat of August, it was very comfortable on the covered patio with fans. Our server, Olga, was knowledgeable of the menu, and was extremely kind and attentive. We each got a small plate and shared the shrimp/scallop paella. Everything was wonderful! Will definitely be back!

    My fiancé and I had an amazing time, the staff was phenomenal and attentive, the wait time was reasonable, the ambiance was very romantic and the food was absolutely delicious. This would definitely be a place that I recommend to friends and family coming to the area & definitely will be back when we come back…the only downside is valet can be a little confusing if you’re not at guest at the national hotel but other than that this place definitely gets a 5 out of 5

    What a fabulous hidden gem! Delicious food in a quaint hotel. The paella is flavorful and expertly prepared. The view at night of the outdoor infinity pool is stunning!

    It was Sunday and I guess July is low season. Nice surroundings, lovely art deco hotel but the restaurant was super quiet so very little atmosphere. We had tapas dishes which were pretty good. Service was friendly.

    No se lo pueden perder, una joyita espectacular! Como era nuestro aniversario nos regalaron el postre que quisiéramos. Todo delicioso, el servicio increíble (nos toco Flavio que nos habló en perfecto español para no batallar), el lugar muy muy bonito y acogedor. El pulpo y las scallops de los más ricos que he probado en mi vida. Definitivamente regresaría. Sirve para cualquier ocasión, en pareja o amigos o familiar.

    It was excellent as usual. The food was particularly good. The cod croquetas, the spanish potato salad, the kale salad and the butifarra paella were to die for!!

    What a fantastic adventurous dinner! The food was simply phenomenal. The service was outstanding as well. I will definitely return, very soon. Next time I’ll stay the hotel. Loved it. The piano bar was great fun. The piano performance is the ticket here! The performer is a super star!

    This was such a great find. The food was flavored to perfection. The staff was kind and attentive and we loved the decor. To top off a great evening, we were entertained by a talented singer. This place has a great vibe. We'll definitely be back.

    Amazing food and service! We got the six course tasting menu plus some extras so we tried almost everything! Great experience plus we were entertained by amazing vocalist and piano player in the bar. Beautiful space!

    Amazing dining experience at Mareva!! Our server was super nice and accommodated all of our requests. Food was faster than expected. Ambiance is greeeat, nice and private and overlooking the pool. Food is DELICIOUS!! Very thoughtful ingredients and creative make!

    Our fantastic server, Flavio, helped us navigate food allergies to design a delicious combination of small and large plates. Staff was highly attentive, outdoor ambience was lovely even with a thunderstorm mid-meal. Try the short rib!

    Wonderful experience! Celebrated my husband’s birthday and it was great, the staff, the waiter’s were all very friendly and professional, a special thank you to Mr. Jankel who was very attentive and made this very special celebration unforgettable, food was exquisite and the ambiance superb.     Merva 1939 is a very nice place with a really great outdoor patio. The surrounding location is great, too. The service was solid and the menu is very inventive. I wasn't crazy about the wine list and we opted for the black paella. It was okay but I strongly prefer regular paella.
