   Very busy night and seemed way under staffed. Our waiter did a great job but she was stretched thin. Food was pretty good. Noise level was very loud making it hard to hear each other and the tables are very small and hard to fit a plate and silverware and drinks for four people. There were open booths but they would not let us move to those.

   After finding this restaurant online as we were driving thru, reservations were easy to make online. They had our table ready within 5 min of us arriving a bit early. Our server was very helpful on suggestions for us to choose our dishes, and when my daughter didn’t care for her first choice, she quickly brought out another for her. Everything from our drinks to our meal was made using fresh and mostly local ingredients. They even had fresh herbs growing on the patio. We will definitely make this a stop on our next trip.

   Food was ok. My salmon was over cooked and dry. My date got the flat iron steak it didn't taste like it had been marinated enough, would of been better with some char on it. We sat at the bar and bartender was hardly ever there ther not sure if she was working other side or what was going on. Mill give it another try before not going back.

   It was my wife Birthday dinner. Everything was great! Would have like a bigger table for four people and cocktails were not very good. Food as always is great! Miss the beef stroganoff. Great Atmosphere.

    We love Mare Sol. Always terrific. Great to see many business-type groups dining here, along with local residents. It was busy but we got a table quickly through OpenTable.

    Our dinner was wonderful. I wanted to brag on our server, and I don't even remember his name. He had long, dark hair and was so personable. He truly went above and beyond, and I thought as I was driving home that I needed to tell him that. I am glad to have the chance to let him know (hopefully) through this review. Dinner was delicious, the atmosphere was perfect, our work group enjoyed celebrating one of our own together downtown, and the server was amazing. He even noticed as I was leaving that I did not have my to go order. He reminded me about it. (I had left it at the table!) Very observant! Thank you, Mare Sol!

    Always good food and service. Menu is the issue. Need some stability and also a menu that allows for hanging with friends - having drinks and sharing apps / tapas, nice meal etc.

    Change open table and google review and menu!!! I went for Medeteranian food- NOT! No reason they can’t make mention this is not a Greek restaurant food was good as was service but still deceptive.

    Glad we made a reservation because the place was very busy! That being said, I understand why. The food was delicious. My husband got the ribeye and I got the shrimp and grits. Our server, Lacy, was very accommodating even though she was busy. It was our first time eating there and we will definitely go back.

    Always dependably good! This time it was a group of college friends during our Homecoming weekend. We always bring guests here when they're in town, knowing it will serve everyone's taste. Thjs evening we had "the boss lady" as our server, along with her helpers and were treated well. Thank you for being our favorite restaurant in town.

    A great relaxed venue to catchup with our grandson who is attending the college. Mare Sol is located in the heart of the old town with plenty of parking close by. They provided a full menu with a great variety of reasonably priced choices. The excellent staff were very personable and always attentive. We were seated in a cozy booth where we felt removed the other normal restaurant activities around us. We will be back to dine again on our next visit to LaGrange College.

    Like the new menu! This has been our favorite go-to since moving to LaGrange 1-1/2 years ago. The last menu was sorta blah. I had chicken panini and Greek salad. Spouse had steak. No crumbs left! And the Allen Scott Saigon Blanc was good. Looked for the Ned, understand it's been hard to get. Thank you for excellent service.

    Red snapper was totally overcooked and hard. Caesar salad was a very small portion but good. Chocolate creme brulet was no better than a Jello chocolate pudding. Value was low. I would not recommend Mare Sol but would go their again since LaGrange has no standout eateries.

    We visited for our anniversary. Lacey was our server and she was fantastic. I was struggling to decide between two dishes and she really described them well and gave her recommendation. The duck confit spring rolls were excellent, and the staff was very accommodating to adapt the menu to liking. Overall, great experience.

    The staff went above and beyond to provide us a positive experience and our dinners and desert were absolutely delicious. Also enjoyed the flight of beers! Spacious seating allowed us to converse easily and the view from the big windows adds to the relaxed upscale ambiance. Highly recommend and our favorite for a great meal in the area so far!

    We were in town for an overnight at the Great Wolf Lodge. After a long day, we booked dinner reservations for 9. We were called by the restaurant to inform us the kitchen closes at 9 but they were happy to take us in so long as they could fire the order before 9. We decided to dine there anyway but as takeout. The food was very well prepared, seasoned and packaged for take out. I highly recommend this location and would dine there again. Pork chops, salmon, sea bass were all on point!
