Mare Monte is a lovely restaurant with good food & good service. We were served by Mindy, who had a great personality & was knowledgeable about the menu & gave us some good recommendations. We started with the mozzarella & tomato appetizer which was excellent. My husband enjoyed 1 of the pasta specials, homemade penne with a pistachio pesto dressing with some shrimp included. I had the papperadelle with bolognese sauce which was excellent. The only negative here is the noise level. When we 1st walked in, the restaurant was filled to capacity & the noise level was extreme. They would benefit from having a company come in & add noise reducing fabric or panels so diners can converse while enjoying a wonderful meal.

Our first visit and won’t be our last. The food, value and service were outstanding. Great location in Haddonfield. Fun to walk around after dinner.

My husband and I dined here on Monday evening, 6/23. There were a few tables with either 2 or 3 people, plus our table, in the front of the restaurant. In the back of the room, there was a table of 8-10 people who were so loud you couldn't converse with your dining partner(s). We spoke with our server about how unpleasantly loud this group was and he apologized... I mentioned to him that they should have seated this large group in the other room. He told us this was not his decision but it was the owner's. We spent about $100 on a meal that was very good but one we could not enjoy. While I realize this kind of experience may not be typical, I believe it should be policy to seat large groups like this in the other room so as not to ruin the other patrons experience.

Have been eyeing this restaurant for awhile and finally booked a reservation. We were pleasantly surprised as soon as we walked through the door. The dining room is large, but didn’t feel that way because the paint color helps soften the interior feel. Although there weren’t many people in the restaurant at 5:30, the acoustics were great and we could hear each other conversing. Our dinner selections were delicious. I wasn’t fan of the bread but will come back again.

The service was excellent from the time we walked in until the time we left. We were greeted when we arrived. Our waitress and hostess were nothing short of amazing. The beet salad was excellent. The beets you can tell were from scratch and cooked to perfection. I would suggest getting one for yourself and not to share. To good to share. My entree was excellent. It was a Penne dish with Crabmeat, Spinach & Sun-dried tomatoes in a pink cream sauce. Despite a few small shells from the crabmeat, the dish was delicious. We also had the gnocchi dish with Gorgonzola cheese. It was very creamy and you can tell the gnocchi were homemade. The dessert was the icing on the cake. We had an excellent experience and looking forward to going back.

I always get mussels with red sauce but this was not an option so I got their white sauce and I couldn't have been happier. Absolutely delicious

Good experience celebrating a friends birthday! We always have a good meal but just wishing menu would change occasionally. I opted for one of the specials that was tasty. Thank you for the special dessert treat for our birthday girl! Our service was wonderful!
