My new go-to spot! Food is delicious & the owner is amazing, along with the staff! $10 bottomless mimosas on weekends is MY FAVORITE, especially on Ventura Blvd. The shrimp po boy is unreal & delicious. 10/10 recommend.

A great spot for dinner and drinks. Come on the weekends for the live, music, or any time for a terrific meal with great service. We had the crabcakes and hush puppies and both were Terrifico. The service was timely and professional, and the food was great.

Are you kidding me… a diamond in the rough! Our experience was flat out awesome from being seated to prompt excellent service & incredibly delicious food! Drinks were fantastic & to top off our wonderful dinner the dessert had us licking our fingers out the door! The owner made a point to make everyone feel welcomed next level care & attention to detail! The band was a very nice touch to our overall experience being one that will certainly make us regulars! Highly recommend this spot! Original authentic Cajun proper culture drinks & food! Wowwwwww mic drop!

This place was a whole vibe. My coworkers and I went there to celebrate our promotions. The food was good. The Catfish melted in out mouth and the greens were to die for.

Excellent New Orleans/So. Louisiana style food. Welcoming staff - owner is everywhere making sure all's well. Tim (dinner) and Gustavo (Sun brunch) were friendly, attentive. Nice selection of regional favorites - leave room for bread pudding for dessert! Corkage is $5! Live music both for dinner and brunch. Parking a challenge, but then that's normal for anywhere on Ventura Blvd.

Everything was really good, as the 3 of us shared plates, and and the sax player was a nice touch... bread pudding was outstanding. My mom wants to go back. Will make that happen in the near future.

Went today and let me tell you the best. The owner is so professional and engaging. I'm glad we have an option in the valley. Parking is tricky but, its worth it. We had the charboiled oysters, shrimp and grits, catfish po boy and the peach cobbler rolls.

This was my fist time going to this restauant, and THE FOOD was so good! I had the Ettoufee, and it reminded me of the original Harold and Bell days... Rich Roux, great portion size and delicious. I will definitely be going back with friends. MUST try the Bread pudding (which could have been a little sweeter, but I still loved it) and my date had the Beignet sticks... DELICIOUS! I'm going to diet and go back soon. LOL

Had a book club meeting there and the owner Keith was very accommodating and a great host. Waiters were great and the food was delicious. My friends are still talking about how great the food was. I will be back for Mardi Gras.

I must start by saying I met a friend at the restaurant on a rainy night, we basically had the place to ourselves! With that said the service was impeccable.. lol. Everything we ordered was well seasoned and delicious! We started with the fried oysters which my friend who doesn’t like oysters, ENJOYED. I had catfish with collards and black eye peas and my friend had red beans and rice with chicken sausage.. highly recommend both! I loved the vibe of place, tossed pillows and beautiful murals included.

The wings were great but the gumbo and jambalaya were so salty I felt like i had drunk a bottle of soy sauce. The staff is trying hard but the kitchen hasn't caught up.

Food was delicious! We started with crab cakes that were more crab than cake and the remoulade was a perfect compliment. The snapper,blacked with cream sauce, was soooooooooo good! My date had the trio- jambalaya/red beans&rice/gumbo which was seasoned perfectly. Save room for the beignets-yum! Malik took great care of us. Looking forward to going again soon.

The beignets!! Oh the beignets. They only had the cheesecake beignets --- lucky us!! The fried catfish was great, my friend loved the dirty rice. The raw oysters were good. my disappointment was the jambalaya, I'd say it was average. The service was amazing and I will go back and probably go with the fried fish which was delicate and delicious.
