   After seeing so many positive reviews on TikTok, I really wanted to love Marcus Bar & Grille. My first visit was on Valentine’s Day with my best friend, who was in town for a Galentine’s weekend. We ordered the Tomahawk steak for two but were disappointed when it arrived overcooked. We thought about sending it back but decided against it since it was late and we learned that two other tables had the same issue. Upon leaving, we were given the manager’s contact info and encouraged to reach out if we ever returned. I decided to give it another chance on Mother’s Day and contacted the manager in advance, as suggested. I made a reservation for the Mother’s Day buffet for my mom and me. We were seated promptly and told our server would be with us shortly. After several minutes, someone stopped by and told us to go ahead and start getting food and that the servers would be working together to serve all tables. That didn’t really happen he was the only person who checked on us, and while he did his best, service overall was lacking. The highlight of the meal was the drinks, but after waiting a long time for our second round, we ended up canceling them and asked for the check. For a $230 experience, the visit felt very underwhelming. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

   This restaurant is a one & done for me. I booked for “Mother’s Day” and wasn’t happy about the bill I received. $150 for 2ppl, plus the $30 gratuity that was added to my bill, plus taxes. This was high way robbery, because although it was open buffet charging nearly $100 pp is wild. The food was mediocre & I wasn’t happy at all. Thank you but no thank you.

   This is my second time at the restaurant. Even though it was the buffet only and not the menu, I was not disappointed. Our waitress Hollywood was so nice and accommodating. I will continue to recommend this restaurant as it seems to be consistent and flavorful.

   The coconut curry chick peas were amazing!!! I sat at the bar and did not receive the best service. The bar tender did not ask how I was doing during my meal, she just dropped the water down and kept it moving. Didn’t check back on me or anything. But bad service is sometimes what you get, when you feel you don’t have to work for the tip, with 20% gratuity all ready added.

   Experience was great!! Not as busy as I thought it would be but the food was amazing! Wasn’t aware of the up charge for Mothers Day, they could’ve said or advertised that but other than that 10/10!!

   The food was extremely overpriced for what we got. One piece of fish was $35. our bill came out to like 497 something dollars and we barely got anything extremely overpriced. The people on TikTok lied. and then we got charged gratuity for a large party fee when we only had four adult adults and two children. We paid like $68 in  gratuity

   Excellent brunch! They had a plenty of choices of delicious dishes on the buffet and it was all freshly prepared. For the non-red neat eaters, there was chicken sausage, turkey sausage, shrimp, and catfish. Save room for the mini dessert cups- it’s worth it 😋!

    I did not love my food.. and for what I spent I really wish I had. We ordered the A town deviled eggs .. honestly not much seasoning kind of taste it like the premade deviled eggs I get from Publix. Upon the recommendation of the server, I ordered the lamb chops and a side of brussels sprouts as the lamb chops do not come with any sides - which is very disappointing for the price. What I can say about the lamb chops were they were very greasy. I didn’t even eat all of them. I left two of them. Same with brussels sprouts.. They seem to be a bit greasy. My guest ordered the salmon with the crab fried rice and enjoyed her food . I actually liked hers a lot better as well.
