The food was server piping hot and fresh.
My dinner was exquisite.
The rose wine also a recommendation.
Great Food and Good value for money. Big portions
A neighborhood Italian bistro, nicely decorated, but just a bit shabby both in its physical presence and its food. I had spinach ravioli in pesto sauce. The pesto was very good; the ravioli were soggy and bland tasting. The Caesar side-salad was very ordinary, not a particularly memorable dressing, with a weird "crouton" on top, and a couple of sad-looking anchovies. It was also just kind of slopped on the plate, which was a bit of a turn off. Desserts were common for an Italian restaurant, but looked delicious; I had a nice housemade raspberry sherbert. My companion enjoyed his chocolate lava cake. The restaurant is located right on busy Santa Monica Boulevard and there was a vibrant street scene outside, including a couple of homeless guys who stood looking longingly through the front window at the diners. It would not be a pleasant place to eat al fresco, even though they had tables outside: it was grimy, lots of traffic and sketchy folks lurking. The staff was generally pleasant and helpful. Our waiter was very polite and competent, but spoke rather softly and it was sometimes hard to hear what he was saying over the din of the traffic outside. The restaurant looked like its floors and walls needed a good scrubbing. It could have just been the fact that the lighting was kind of low and made the place somewhat darker than it needed to be, in my opinion. There are many other better Italian restaurants in L.A., I'm sorry to say, and while Marco's was certainly adequate, I'm in no rush to return.
Service was great but the food was bland and left me sick for the rest of the night. I had the poato soup, caser salad, pasta Marco and mushroom lasagna. All were bland and flavorless. Pasta Marco was both dried out but tasted like pasta water. The mushroom was 80% cheese. 7 of the 10 bites I was able to have were 100% cheese. The bread was very good.
Terrible in general
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Marco's. Brought my parents when they were visiting. We love Italian food but can be picky about our Italian because we're from New York. The food was great, we had a wonderful server and hostess, and it was an all around enjoyable experience. We felt well taken care of without feeling hovered over or rushed. I got the gnocchi which were cooked perfectly, like little pillows.
The restaurant was very quaint and cozy. There was 4 of us and all our dinners were bland. The bread was good and our waiters were great. We were very disappointed in the food.
The table was ready right on time. As always the service and food were excellent.
Service was unbelievably exceptional. Great food and awesome prices.
Marco's Italian Restaurant in the middle of West Hollywood is a charming little neighborhood restaurant with no pretensions....a great place to go a few nights a week just to have a lovely affordable meal and enjoy the company.
Great food and dining atmosphere. Good replication of a traditional Trattoria in Italy.
The staff was very friendly and the service was great. The food was alright, just your average Italian restaurant
Food was amazing, service was great and really appreciate the servers recommendation for the steak, it was perfect. Live down the street so will definitely be back again
Space was great and service was a great supplement to the overall atmosphere. I went for a date that was terrible and regrettable every second I spent there. The food, service and vibe was a great escape. Thanks!
Fun place... great mimosas
Perfect spot for a fun group brunch. Kept the all you can drink mimosas flowing the whole time and the food was good. Nice looking spot, and love that it isn't cramped inside.
We love our neighbourhood Italian restaurant. The service is excellent and the food is delicious.
It was great! Gays branching in WeHo. What’s not to love?
Food was delicious! Garlic cheese bread! Yummy! Perfect portions.
Great place any day of week for breakfast, lunch or diner.
Great place to have brunch and or dinner. The food is great and the employees are fantastic.
Always our go to for Sunday brunch. Great service, food and 🥂
Marco's has been around for a long time. From what I could tell, it seems to have developed a deep relationship with its customers and the neighborhood -- and I don't wonder why. There's feeling of genuine warmth from the staff, and a sense that you're truly valued as a customer. In observing the solo diners, couples, and large groups present, I got the impression that they were there to consume that as much as the food. Speaking of food, my clam linguine (the special) was fresh and flavorful, with a bit of an extra tang to it (lemon, maybe?), that made it a little different... and a lot tasty. Their suggested wine, a Napa Sauvignon Blanc, was perfect pairing. I was a happy diner indeed.
Great place to meet up with friends for Sunday brunch. Bottomless mimosas are great and service is excellent.
I LOVE Marcos. Everything is perfection. Our friends have now changed their favorite Italian restaurant to Marcos.
My second time here after i was scared by first experience I was reluctant the second time but wasn't as horrible as the first food was decent but Service was really good and the waiter dod give us a discount on a dish that we just didnt really like
A little on the noisy side, food was good and service, too. Would benefit from having a full liquor license.
The food was good, the service excellent and the prices reasonable. What more could you want?
Great soup, great pastas. Neighborhood style restaurant with good food and service.
The food was delicious, the staff attentive. Everything, start to finish, was enjoyable.
Nice waiter, needed music to be louder. Owners there, one guy with grey hair a bit too loud when customers are present.
At the end, suddenly a very tall guy came to the table as we were finishing and said "so what's going on here?" Weird, we were finishing. Odd
Everything was good except the entree I ordered was somewhat blah and needed some seasonings or something. In the description it said that it came with a spicy sauce, a pasta dish that I can't remember the name with garlic, basil and olive oil.
I finally found a place with Spumoni! Great pizza and spumoni. Will return.
Overall a great experience. Food was delicious. Perfect brunch spot.
Again we had a wonderful meal that wasn't too expensive. We enjoy the wait staff and go to Marco's often.
As always, everything on the menu is delicious. The service friendly and efficient.
I was looking for a place close The Coast Playhouse and came across Marcos on Open Table. Although it was quite when we arrived, it started to fill out as we were leaving. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My biggest pet peeve when dining out it glasses being empty. This never happened.
I would certainly recommend Marcos to anyone looking for a local place with great authentic Italian food. Although I'm from Long Beach, I would certainly dine here again when in the area
We had a lovely brunch at Marco's on Mother's day. Enjoyed great food in the heart of WeHo along with free flowing Mimosas.
When you eat so much carbs, especially, Italian, you might as well want to enjoy every calorie but the food is not even average to my taste. However the staff was very nice and friendly generally!
