Welcome to Marco's Kitchen located in the heart of beautiful downtown La Grange. Travel back in time with us, to a time when dining out was a special occasion of delicious cuisine, unique libations, refined service and wonderful company. Our intimate dining room offers crisp white linen, fresh flowers, rich colors and warm candle-light. Our ever-changing menu is a celebration of cuisine and beverages from the many different parts of the world and is based on the travels of Chef Marco Conte. Our list of signature cocktails and mouth watering desserts are all designed to tease and tantalize your palate.

We understand that some of our guests have not visited each other in quite some time due to the pandemic. Our goal is to create a dining room experience that is comfortable, elegant and unique. Please take note of our table time limits:

Pastries and fruit were great and very generous portions. Quiche and salad for lunch were great. Was surprised and pleased at the attentiveness of wait staff for bottomless mimosas and table service. I really enjoyed the drag cabaret and costume contest, thought the whole afternoon was really fun.

Went here for an anniversary dinner and Marco’s exceeded my expectations. Staff were very courteous and helpful with recommendations. Marco came out, introduced himself and asked how our meal was and if there was anything he could do for us. Very personal place to make sure our dining experience was top notch. A wonderful restaurant that oozes ambience. Service was impeccable. Our appetizers were very good, buratta bruschetta and the figs. The Marco house salad was delicious and the grilled romaine was great. We ordered the salmon which was cooked perfectly however the side vegetables could have been more interesting. What an enjoyable evening dining at Marco’s kitchen. We will return. Thank you.

My husband has the chicken liver pate which he loves. I had the escargot, which is in a pastry puff. I normally have it with garlic and butter, so this was different. It was good but I guess I'm used to tons of garlic and butter! Husband had the duck breast and I had rack of lamb, of which both were delicious and cooked perfectly. Love to see Marco and his staff smiling and enjoying what they do! Very nice wine list, which we also enjoyed. There were a couple of groups at tables and other separate couples as well. Some dressed in business casual and some more casual. Atmosphere is intimate and comfortable. They also have six seats at the bar which are nicely spaced apart so if you choose to eat dinner there you are not elbow to elbow with other customers.

We had heard good things, so made a res on a Fri for that night. Happily got in, loved it. Escargot app was a unique presentation and delicious, NY strip and duck breast were great, wine list was filled with wines we had not seen before and enjoyed, service was prompt and friendly; when our waiter’s shift was apparently over, another waiter promptly arrived and landed the plane with cheesecake and berries + aperitif. Kitchen, front of house, teamwork. All great. Will be back.

This was our second visit to Marco's Kitchen and it was delightful (our first experience was less so). The food was top notch - innovative and delicious. It was nice to be in a relatively quiet and relaxed setting so we could converse with friends. Service was competent. We cannot wait for our next visit.

This was our first time attending "Speakeasy" night with live music entertainment. It was wonderful and we plan to go back for more such evenings and bring close friends with us. The food and service were outstanding as always. Marco spent most of the evening in the kitchen making sure all the food was prepared properly. The trio of musicians were excellent, volume level matched the room perfectly, giving a very intimate and pleasurable night club vibe. Great interactions with patrons seated at tables and at the bar.

Our reservation was at 8:30 on a Thursday night. We were a few minutes early but the restaurant was nearly empty. Perhaps that was the problem. Everything was perfect except for the food. The mahi mahi was overcooked and dry, and the tenderloin was overcooked and tough. The greens on house salad were intermixed with spoiled fragments requiring some sorting. If it had not been so late we would have sent the food back. We were hosting a special guest & it would have been awkward. It The service was exceptional! We will go back

Food was really good with a nice selection of menu items and it was hard to pick just one. Inside decor was really cool, felt very city like inside. Only complaint was hearing 3 separate crashes of dishes that night but definitely would return and is a great place to celebrate a special occasion. Nothing quite like it in LG.
