The service was great and the pizza delicious! Loved the cocktails too. Will definitely be back!
This little gem of a pizza restaurant is hidden amid new apartment towers. Unless you have directions you would not see if from the street, but it was worth the search. The bar is very modern as is the décor. We were surprised that on a Saturday at 5:30pm that happy hour was in effect. Great advantage to try out some of the house cocktails and beer. It is hard to find a good pizza joint as many in south Denver are no longer around. The pizza's are all thin crust, but very tasty due to the way they make it over the coals, plus lots of ingredients. I can't remember the name but the pizza but the one with with sausage, pepperoni, red onions, mushrooms and basil was excellent.
The garden side salad was great as it had a lot of sliced cherry tomatoes and mozzarella cubes tossed in a balsamic dressing, nice presentation and tasty.
We came to celebrate our son’s 10th birthday, with 7 noisy, messy little boys. Our waitstaff was incredible - patient and kind - AND spoiled us by giving us the dessert ‘on the house.’ Food was delicious, especially the roasted vegetable salad. HIGHLY recommend!
Great food & service! Save room for dessert - which is very hard to do because you want eat every bite of pizza!
Awesome food! If you are looking for something to eat (even though everything on the menu is so good) try out the Hell's Kitchen pizza!
We didn't not stay. I have a hard time hearing in noisy places and this was 10+ for decibels. Horrid. We asked the hostess for another table and she said we'd have to wait 20-30 minutes. I was with two teens and they even found the noise level uncomfortable. There were two large booths open - but she wasn't offering us any other table than the four top in the middle of the room.
While the pizza has been good in the past it was not worth enduring the noise. We went around the corner To Maggianos and ate in the bar. No wait. Less noise. Manager comped our salads when we told home where we had come from.
Some of the best pizza we've ever had!! Great service (Marylin was amazing!), great vibe. Perfect for our team dinner!!
Restaurant was cold and the ambience cold as well, like an antiseptic national chain
It’s was and always is AWESOME!!
We have been trying to find a Pizza spot to make our "regular" pizza dates too and we still aren't TOTALLY sold on Marcos but it might make the cut after we visit a few more in the area. We weren't sure what to expect considering the location but the ambiance was actually quite nice- we wanted to sit at the bar but it was packed. The music being played was really outdated and old - I would suggest they get with the times and play some better tunes because this is something we find important being in our 30s (music can really set the tone and hearing oldies was not what I was wanting to hear on date night haha)
The service wasn't the best, not that it was bad but being in the service industry we expect a lot and our waitress wasn't very attentive however, she knew the menu well and was accommodating as long as we asked her for more water and asked a few times for the items we needed (reminding her once or twice for them). We started out with the "lemonchello" wings (spelling not sure?) supposedly they are popular. They were not very appetizing - I suggest asking if they have some franks or BBQ sauce to dip them in because it was far from what we were expecting. The chicken itself was delicious just way too much lemon flavor to the point they tasted bitter like we were eating the Rhind of a lemon (we got them to-go and baked them the next day at home and added a coating of Franks and they were delicious, amazing what a little franks can do!)
The pizza was actually delicious, very authentic Italian, the meats tasted great, the cheese was delicious - I tried the Buffala and the pecorino. They do nickel and dime you on toppings so be careful when building your own because it adds up QUICK some of the toppings are $3.50 EACH. We will absolutely be back at some point, however $100 for pizza/wings date was a bit pricy so we will look around in the meantime for a place slightly more reasonable.
PIzza and salads delicious. Noise level not conducive to conversation
If only all pizza places were like this!
Great pizza in-a-flash. Good wines. Great service. Just a very nice experience!
They're back! Not sure what the difference was between Racca's and Marco's, but this last visit felt like a visit to the Marco's of old! Everything was improved over the last few visits!
Marilyn was our server and she was wonderful! It would be nice if they added a few appetizers to their menu, otherwise the food was excellent!
The food was amazing! I was especially pleased with the gluten free pizza and beer options!
Great outdoor seating overlooking a pleasant open space. Three of us (men) split 2 pizzas and it was just the right portion size. Good flavor combinations on the pizza and a very authentic taste.
We went here for my son's 18th birthday. Actually, it was the best pizza I've ever had. A little hard to interpret the menu, but wonderful pizza combinations as well as the ability to create your own and keep it simple. Super-high quality ingredients. The crust is amazing. Baked quickly in a super hot coal-fired oven. The result is wonderful. I'm not sure I would enjoy the indoor seating as well, since it seems a little crowded and noisy. But fortunately it was a nice evening and we sat outside. That was a lovely atmosphere with special lighting and a fire. Marilyn served us and she was terrific. The Nutella pizza is perfect to share for dessert, even if you're full!
Over all, an ok pizza place. If you are looking for a NY style pizza this is the place to go. If you want meat and veggies on your pie look elsewhere.
Highly recommend! Great pizza! Just like the pizza we enjoyed in Italy! And love the Nutella dessert pizza too!
We have loved Marcos for years and decided to celebrate our 5th anniversary there, bringing our young, busy boys with (ages 4 and 1.5). We sat on the patio and service was excellent. Mandy was quick, attentive and always thinking ahead. She brought dough for our boys to play with when they had finished eating and we were still finishing. We were treated to a dessert, which was a complete surprise! We have also enjoyed the quality of food, this was no exception- every bite was flavorful and delicious! We will definitely be back!
The pizza and dessert were good. Service was excellent. Unfortunately the wine tasted like it was about to turn.
Best Gluten-free pizza that you'll fine ANYWHERE! Wings are so good also
Customer service top notch they helped me pull off a small surprise for my husband and his employees, service was impeccable, we felt very satisfied with our experience.
Certainly the best pizza I've had in Colorado. And if you like a tasty crust, this is your place. The balsamic reduction was delicious (came on the salad, ordered extra for pizza dipping). The nutella pizza bites were a huge hit for a shared dessert. Overall, can't wait to go back.
great place to eat. the food is very good and so was the services
Incredible pizza. Best ever outside of New York or Italy.
Great service and delicious pizza! This was my first visit; I will definitely be back soon!
Very tasty and good service - not sure if had someone new in the kitchen, but a few dishes came out wrong. They did leave the other dishes on the table for us to eat if we wanted; however.
1st time here. A VERY good experience at the Inverness location. Everyone in my party were please with their meals.
A bit pricey but it was yummy!
Rushed service. Pizza soggy, under cooked. Was better as Marcos
We love raccas. We are a gluten free family and we come here in confidence every time. We have come here for every special occasion. Strongly suggest it for anyone.
We always have great service and the food is always consistent
We were visiting Denver for the first time. There were four of us sitting in the area near the bar. It took awhile for the pizza because we ordered two gluten free pizzas. Our guess really enjoyed their gluten free pizzas. I would have liked my pizza cooked a little longer because the dough was gummy still. It was my husband's 60th birthday and he was enjoying it with his daughter that he hasn't seen in awhile. It would have been eventful but we could hear the bartender inappropriate language coming from her repeatedly. This area of the dining room would not be for families with children.
The pizza was incredible!
Super yummy gluten free pizza. Probably the best I have had out. Great job! And holy cow the Nutella pizza for dessert! Yummmmm! Sat out on the patio and the kids were able to get up and run around safely without bugging anyone. Very good experience!
We love the food at Racca's! They have the best gluten free pizza. The only thing that detracted from this visit was that the server didn't listen very well and came to check on us way too frequently.
Hostess forgot about us for 30 minutes even though we had a reservation. It was suppossed to be a valentines date night but left a lot to be desired.
