I went for an afternoon tea that was pre booked. Loved the place the staff couldn't do enough for us. But what a disappointment the sandwiches a lovely variety had been allowed to go dry and hard round the edges. The scene was warm when it came out, cold by the time we had eaten our sandwiches it was rock hard we were given one tiny pot of jam to share and one small bowl of cream, this wasnt cheap, would never recommend or go back here for anything, a disgrace

Extremely poor service, main course was disappointing and pudding was inedible. When complaint was made to manager he was clearly not concerned. Restaurant must be surviving on having Marco Pierre White label.

We visited for the first time on Fathers Day, our meal was lovely, although a little disappointed there was no steak on the menu ( Marco Pierre White Steakhouse!! ) Good choice of options on the childrens menu. Fab red wine. Our waitress was lovely and very helpful when trying to sort out the ever blowing air conditioning!

The steak that I order was exquisite, through the portion size was slightly pretentious. Service was wonderful and there was a good wine list.

Good food and prompt and efficient service. Good range of wine by the glass. Interesting range of menu options. We had Shepherds pie and Steak pie, both well presented and piping hot. An enjoyable meal.

Great service, good value ,lovely venue,we ate the Sunday lunch good choice of meat, fish and a veg option. wines were a reasonable cost, the staff were very attentive .We will certainly visit again

Food and waiter was very good. Our waiter Will went out of his way to help and engaged well with us throughout our meal. Steaks were good and wine was good.

Absolutely awful food. Steak was so tough even steak knife couldn’t cut through it and lots fat. Chips over cooked. Waiter took steak back to explain to cook that we weren’t happy.Never came back. Charged us on bill. When I queried it he said he would check and I said Taxi outside got to go. Asked manager to ring me and haven’t heard a thing. First time I have ever had a warm cheesecake so indicated it was left out on the side. Starter was okay but too much beetroot and not enough cheese. Waiter drove me mental constantly asking if he could take things off the table. We had ordered bread and olives that we hadn’t touched as had starters as well but kept trying to remove them even though we said to leave them. Then kept try to take the deserts even though clearly not finished. Lucky for him I was with my friend or I would removed tip off the bill and complained. I should have realised that just because it says Marco Pierre White restaurant means nothing. Marco hasn’t a clue what goes on in his restaurants. They have paid for the name and menu but that guarantees nothing. At least with Gordon Ramsey you know you can eat in any of his establishments and you get quality.

Only 1 of 4 of us was happy with the steaks. They were underdone and one was tough. Given we paid £280 I would not recommend it to friends or visit again myself. This was a special event, spoilt by the main course

service was very good. The Stick Toffee Pudding was very poor. Dry. Potato's for main course were luke warm.
