   I went for an afternoon tea that was pre booked. Loved the place the staff couldn't do enough for us. But what a disappointment the sandwiches a lovely variety had been allowed to go dry and hard round the edges. The scene was warm when it came out, cold by the time we had eaten our sandwiches it was rock hard we were given one tiny pot of jam to share and one small bowl of cream, this wasnt cheap, would never recommend or go back here for anything, a disgrace

   Extremely poor service, main course was disappointing and pudding was inedible. When complaint was made to manager he was clearly not concerned. Restaurant must be surviving on having Marco Pierre White label.

   We visited for the first time on Fathers Day, our meal was lovely, although a little disappointed there was no steak on the menu ( Marco Pierre White Steakhouse!! ) Good choice of options on the childrens menu. Fab red wine. Our waitress was lovely and very helpful when trying to sort out the ever blowing air conditioning!

   The steak that I order was exquisite, through the portion size was slightly pretentious. Service was wonderful and there was a good wine list.

   Unfortunately our experience at the restaurant was marred by the poor quality of the fillet steaks we ordered and the lack of response when we complained. Our bill totalled over £300 which meant our service charge was around £30 which we think was unreasonable for a table of 4 adults and 3 children. So based on this we are unlikely to visit a Marco Pierre White steakhouse in future Joan Woodhouse

   Good food and prompt and efficient service. Good range of wine by the glass. Interesting range of menu options. We had Shepherds pie and Steak pie, both well presented and piping hot. An enjoyable meal.

   I was disappointed by my meal in the Marco Pierre White steakhouse. The calamari starter was a modest portion but tasty and well presented, but the main was very disappointing. For a restaurant that bills itself as a steakhouse, I expected a really good steak. Unfortunately that's not what I got; I ordered ribeye and whilst the flavour was OK, it was quite tough and gristly. The chips weren't great either. Not good enough - especially once the fairly expensive pricing is taken into account. Nice glass of wine, though, and the staff were helpful, attentive and friendly.

   Great service, good value ,lovely venue,we ate the Sunday lunch good choice of meat, fish and a veg option. wines were a reasonable cost, the staff were very attentive .We will certainly visit again

   Food and waiter was very good. Our waiter Will went out of his way to help and engaged well with us throughout our meal. Steaks were good and wine was good.

    This meal was 60th birthday gift from son. For advertised quality of restaurant food n presentation was basically adequate. As we started eating mains , waiter leant across table n meals to remove used glasses ( not necessary at this time). Ordered deserts n waited n waited eventually waiter returned n aplolgised for delay” I’ll find out what is happening “ - “ oh chef is overwhelmed” . The restaurant was not busy , many empty tables. Majority food being served was afternoon tea. Eventually desert arrived , so we could finish n leave. No one on reception to get gate code from , girl from restaurant staff found it for us in the end. Very disappointing, for us and fact son had paid a considerable amount for what should have been a ‘ special experience ‘.
