Had dinner here as a family on a cold and wet mid week night in Feb. The restaurant was cold, the service on our first drinks was slow and the restaurant was quiet. The booking we made on line they also had incorrect.
This is a steakhouse with a big chef name on it. Yet the steak and burgers were at best adequate; I had expected better. Maybe instead of bragging that he is the chef that made Gordon Ramsay cry he needs Ramsay to come and critique his restaurant.
Great staff and food.

We didn’t realise the choice of starters was buffet style , but non the less the bread was nice. However the service was incredibly slow to the point we had to ask the person who brought us to our table to take our order, it wasn’t busy at all but staff were few far and between.
However the main Sunday dinner was lovely but alas the service let it down somewhat.
Terrible experience with bad service, dregs of a starter buffet, cold main courses which were returned to the table having been microwave warmed up, no customer service, no restaurant manager so had to call hotel manager who came to our table.
Nice interior and the service was good but the vegetarian options were dire - bread and salad leaves for entree and an uninspired gnocchi for main. It’s a steak place I get that but carnivores and vegetarians do make friends and when that happens and they want to go out for lunch together...
Our son treated us for father's day. This is the first time we have eaten here. The Sunday Carvery was very good. Service good and surroundings delightful. We will definitely return.
Lovely food as always, well attended by friendly, helpful staff. Happy to recommend and will be visiting again soon.
The starter of blue cheese and pear starter had taken portion control to the extreme with 2 one inch pieces
of pear and two small pieces of blue cheese. When asked more pear was bought and described as "extra " pear. If there is a need to manage costs then the vegetables were over provided and could be reduced
The service was great, the starter was potted duck, and didnt really have much of a taste, and my cousins calamari was cold, the mains were both perfect, the steak was cooked perfectly, the only issue is it came with a free soft drink or wine, and we both didnt recieve either. Apart from that would definitely go again for the steak.
Starters were ok, scallops only cooked one side, steak cold.
