   As always the food was great, and our server was very pleasant. However, we had a real feeling of being rushed at the end of the meal. Service staff appeared to be hurrying to clear away tables all around and did not make for a relaxing finish to our meal. Also, there did not appear to be anyone who could knowledgeably advise us on wines…and we did ask.

   Venue is beautiful. The staff are fantastic. The chef went above and beyond to cook chips in a separate fryer for a gluten allergy. However, the steak came in gravy which we hadn’t requested nor would we have ordered (ordered Bernaise on the side of one and garlic butter on the other so clear we wanted separate sauces). Most unusual. We will try it again and make sure to specify no gravy on the steaks. Otherwise, was lovely.

   We had Easter Sunday lunch with family last Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The food was excellent and the staff faultless. The atmosphere was buzzy but not loud and we will definitely return.

   The pianist was good but way too loud. It made conversation difficult. The food while good was not warm enough. Why not heat plates? A cheese plate would be good. Apparently it’s been discontinued. Neither myself nor another of our party was interested in desert.

   As always the standard is excellent - the food and service is top notch. There is a lovely vibe to the restaurant. I l adore the courtyard entrance area.

    Very enjoyable dinner to mark an occasion. Excellent food,service & ambiance. Napkins were light plastic disposable, unpleasant texture that left white spots on my dark clothing. A very minor remark
