I love the outdoor dining area at Marché aux Fleurs. It is really cute, and the food is delicious and satisfying. My dinner here was the first time it felt like a pre-pandemic outing, though safe and socially distanced. It was a wonderful meal, and I will be dining here again! Thank you.
Girls' evening out on a balmy Tuesday: lovely patio seating (with heat once the sun went down), a great bottle of wine from a very nice wine list, a split salad of simple, fresh flavors, well dressed, and some delicious orecchiette. And friendly attentive service. It's always on my list of places to go back to.
Disappointed. I won’t be back.
One of the best restaurant in Marin! Absolutely LOVE this place.
It’s always a treat to have dinner at Marche. It is a consistently excellent experience.
A great romantic restaurant in Marin with delicious food.
Everything was great. Wonderful food. Nice patio. Good heat lamps. Fair wine prices. Outstanding COVID practices. It will become a regular spot for us.
First night out of lockdown!
The atmosphere was warm and friendly. I had the duck confit which was delicious.
The wine list is excellent.
Don't miss the fabulous chocolate cake.
This restaurant is one of my favorites. A local gem. I had the Sole Almondine- delicious served over a bed of toasted faro and greens. Finished the meal with their warm flourless chocolate cake. Perfect.
The garden seating is very intimate and once we turned on the heater it was comfortable.
We were greeted with a large bottle of water and glasses and when we drank that in the first 5 minutes, they brought us more. The server came and told us about the special and we ordered a Tempranillo that was absolutely delicious and you can't get online which I appreciate whenever I am at a nice restaurant. We ordered Duck Confit and Orecchiette which were less impressive, but definitely not bad. The server came before we finished dinner and offered us the desserts that would take longer, so we ordered 1 of each for a table of 4. Those were outstanding!
Great service during COVID! Highly impressed with their hospitality and preparedness with COVID restrictions.
One dinner was super bland (the oyster black cod specific)
Other dinner was super bitter (duck confit)
Good food & service, as always.
Thursday Burger night was even better than we expected. The food and ambiance was perfect. There was plenty of space between diners and sitting outside on their front patio felt intimate and "normal," in these pandemic times.
If you're GF, this is not the place for you. I felt like I was in the 1990's where if you don't eat gluten they just scrape the bread off your plate. I was really surprised. The food choices were pretty limited, and I couldn't tell if that was a covid/lack of volume issue or not. I really had a hard time choosing my dinner. The lack of wines by the glass also very off putting.
This restaurant is OK. Could use more heaters outdoors. The service is a bit awkward. Our server kept rushing us and kept interrupting our conversation when we clearly were not looking to interact. They are also very limited in their wine selection. They have no wines by the glass. The food was OK. The best thing I tasted was the onion soup. The lamb was too salty for my taste, but my husband liked it. The duck confit tasted like a deep fried chicken. Cauliflower soup was bland.
Marche aux Fleur is a Marin treasure. We had fantastic service and enjoyed our first indoor dining experience in a year!! Thanks to all :)
So good to return!
The food was all excellent (well, except I didn't much care for their shortbread cookie, which was kind of soft and doughy). The french onion soup was perfect, one of the best 2 or 3 I've ever had. The outdoor seating was semi-enclosed, which kept it from being too cold, though I'm not sure how safe it is that way.
this place is 6 stars, not 5. fantastic food, service and ambiance...never disappoints
Our first time dining out, since COVID-19. A wonderful way to begin.
So nice to sit in the garden (with heaters)! New waiter did a good job and was very pleasant, but might have forgotten to tell us the specials ;-) beverages and menu are very limited with the present state of dining, but the pasta dishes we and salad - and famous gooey chocolate cake - were all delicious.
Fantastic meal all around except for My husband’s short rib which was very fatty. Loved the soup and the dessert and my own short rib was perfect. Thank you.
Our favorite spot that never disappoints!!
Our favorite restaurant in Marin. Like being in the French
Countryside. Just wonderful
Great food as always but won't spend $300 again to eat in our coats and freeze! Would also help to have more warm food options and warm drinks (other than tea and coffee).
Delicious food as always. It was a little chilly so bring a blanket to put on your lap.
A great place for a dinner during these strange times. They have a good system to stay safe and brief you of their intention to minimize contact. This was outdoor dining and they had plenty of heaters. The dinner was wonderful and their house made ice cream is a must.
They’re doing a good job managing safety protocols and were very friendly and attentive. The wine was excellent, as was the avocado crostini. The Autumn salad, though piled high with fresh ingredients, lacked flavor. Similarly, the mains we ordered, spaghetti carbonara, mushroom pasta, and cassoulet were nice but a bit monochromatic. There really needed to be contrasting texture, flavor, and color somewhere in these dishes to bring up our overall gastronomic experience at this price point.
Fantastic - now one of my favorite restaurants in Marin.
Exquisite food, warm ambience and excellent/friendly service.
This is always a winner!
The food and service was excellent, and the setting is quaint and quiet. My only constructive advice would be to make sure that your table is at least six feet apart from other tables, as our table was roughly four feet fro the able next to us.
Great creative and farm fresh menu, diverse wine list and excellent manager and wait staff. Consistent quality.
We have never been to this restaurant before, and we were excited to get a reservation. The food was excellent; the ambiance was wonderful; the wait staff was also wonderful. However, our food came out at different times. One of us received our salad when we both ordered it. Our appetizers came out when my husband's meal was being served. I understand how things like that can happen, but we only had 1 hour 15 min to eat. We felt rushed. If the restaurant wanted to adhere to their 1 hour 15 min meal then they should also have the kitchen work on the same parameters. Our meal had just been served and they were already asking if we wanted dessert. We will not return until after COVID is over because I believe this is a wonderful restaurant but not during COVID.
lovely restaurant with delicious meals for a special occasion.
This is the place to go to dine....the fried chicken is the best I've ever had!
Charming and so careful with safety
The food is very good here and a really fun menu. It's covid rules, so outside dining, and nice under the heat lamps.
