Great to be back to in person dining at our favorite upscale eatery in Marin. Holly and Dan provide a wonderful combination of local/seasonal fare. Always delicious!
Too bad the Tuesday Special (Fried chicken) was already sold out but what we order instead was amazing too. We'll come back!
Every single bite was delicious! Highlights were the white corn-summer squash soup and the house-made gnocchi. And although the setting and ambiance is fairly casual the quality of the service and the cooking makes this a worth special occasion kind of place.
Nice place. Colloquial. Food is good and plentiful.
Lovely, consistent place... its always a great to go there.
This has become one of our favorite restaurants. We like the people, the menu, the location, etc.
Wonderful Menu, delicious Duck Confit, service was pleasant & informative & my favorite was the Flourless Gateau au Chocolat. Great wine menu. Merci!
Wonderful meal. Gnocchi was spectacular!
Best restaurant in Marin if you like farm fresh food and French, Italian and California inspired cuisine.
We have always had great meals at Marche aux Fleurs. This past Saturday was a bit of a disappointment. We are hopeful that this was an aberration.
Very good but too hot inside the restaurant.
Lovely location. The food was good, not great. Wine is served in half bottles and cans and no coffee can be served (due to Covid restrictions)
Everything was great except we were refused more bread, when requested. We were told that they only bake enough bread for 1 piece per customer. The pieces were very small - a 2” slice from a baguette. Very strange!
Solid, consistently good as always. Love this restaurant and the owners Dan and Holly Baker
Appetizers and entrees were excellent, very fresh and nicely seasoned. Dessert was so-so -- cookies were dry and odd-tasting, gelato was good. Several canned wines on the menu (we tried 3 of them, two roses and one zinfandel) and they were all disappointing, even though servers encouraged trying them. A busy night, and service was reasonably good.
The food is creative and very well prepared. The Ambiance on the patio is charming and they have heaters if needed. You feel well treated there and the food is delicious.
We had a great experience!! We went on Thursday night which is burger night. The burger was amazing! Juicy, great bun, and tasty cheese. The hand cut fries were great, too. We also ordered the halibut. Super flavorful and the beet sauce with cauliflower were delish! The wind was picking up so we sat inside but they had the doors open so you still felt like you were outside.
With the pandemic we have been seeking outdoor dining venues -- Marche aux Fleurs is by far the most wonderful!!
First rate! Service, quality of cuisine, and value for the cost, were all excellent.
When you want to feel like you are in a Paris cafe and experience great ambiance and creative cuisine, take yourself to Marché
I have eaten here before and it was wonderful. I had the 58 Degree Chicken and it was so so. Sorry.
Great food, service, everything.
This was the perfect place for my birthday celebration. The chocolate cake was amazing! The wine selection was fantastic and reasonable too.
This restaurant is amazing and worth every penny! Went here for Mother’s Day and it was perfect. The squash soup, halibut, and pork pasta (I forget the exact name) were so amazing and we weren’t left hungry. Even had leftover pasta the next day. Only complaint I have is the special dessert of that evening, a cherry cake/tart was just ok but everything else was spectacular. Definitely will go again and try the chocolate cake
Great service, food and cozy out setting. Definitely will be back!
Brought the whole family this time for Mother's Day dinner (5 of us in total, 3 school-aged kids). It was a huge hit for everyone, even my 8yo daughter! Sat inside the dining room for the first time and it was lovely. It was a very lively evening (Saturday night) and I felt so lucky to be out with my family, eating a delicious meal.
Great food, service and outdoor atmosphere! We will be back.
Beautiful early summer night and delicious food.
Great outdoor patio with some shaded areas and some good sunny ones. The food was absolutely amazing at every turn from app, entree, to dessert!! The wine list was great and the assistance from staff on nailing down the bottle was honest and right on the money! I’ll be back for sure!
Simply our favorite restaurant and once more it was perfect, exactly as we've come to expect.
Delicious food and excellent service. We loved both our main courses - Thursday burger and gnocchi. The chocolate flourless cake was amazing and highly recommend. Definitely coming back.
The ambience and the little downtown area are cute. The appetizers were great - we had the bacon wrapped dates as were the deserts we had the flourless chocolate cake. The Entrees were a bit disappointing.
The Duck was very good, the pasta was average, the Hamburger which was their special tasted fine, but the bun was hard as a rock - which made it difficult to eat, and detracted from the flavor. I would go thee if you are a local or in the area, otherwise not worth the drive.
Beautiful and quiet with great food what else could you want.
Very nice atmosphere. Very friendly service. Meal rated as B . I was Told to order the warm chocolate with ice cream on top early as it takes awhile to prepare. It was warm on top and refrigerator cold toward the bottom. Fried chicken was good. Drumstick was undercooked. Soup was excellent. If I return, it would be for the atmosphere and friendly service.
My mom was in town visiting and she always loves to go there.
New Mediterranean salad was delicious, colorful and crisp. Pork Sugo was juicy comfort food. Vegetarian tian was too big, bland, and the polenta had been deep fried and served immediately so scorched my mouth! Unfortunately it was very oily and flavorless. Still, more typically the dishes are very nice.
Seated outside on a cold evening but Marche did a great job with heat ducts blowing in warm air keeping us cozy in the tent. The food was delicious including the onion soup, little gems salad and mushroom gnocchi. Also enjoyed the interesting Austrian Hochacker red wine. The made to order chocolate soufflé cake was a perfect ending to a special meal.
Great family-run restaurant that has been a go-to for us for many years. They never disappoint and are highly recommended .
Indoor seating kept at a minimum. Tables were at least the appropriate distance apart. All servers were friendly and professional. Food was excellent.
