We had a very large party and were late due to a late graduation ceremony. The manager was more than helpful and held our table. We did not feel like we were and inconvinience even though we changed reservation, changed numbers and came late. What a great spot with nice views
What do you look for in a restaurant; namely, good food, good service, and reasonable prices. So, head to Marcellas. You will find all three and then some. Our food was delicious and our waiter, Grant, was attentive and very personable. Treat yourself to a wonderful night out. Marcellas can't be beat.
John Mark was an amazing server. He answered every question we had and made great (not pushy) recommendations.
They were out of some things we wanted to try so the food was just ok, but the atmosphere was good and again our server made the night enjoyable.
Will the back and try different things.
Good food, exceptional service. Excellent value. Looking forward to returning to try other items. We had the spaghetti and meat ball which was very good.
Loved this place!! Amazing food and service. Went here with a big group for a birthday dinner and it was a great experience
Great food, Happy Hour a great value. The Salmon was perfect, beet salad over the top. Nice views of city skyline with lots of windows. Will make this a regular place to dine out.
There were 8 of us for Mother’s Day dinner. The food and service were excellent! Love this place!
Such a great restaurant
I set a reservation for mothers Day and when I got their they said they couldn't find my name, then they found it and said it was for 2 people. I modified my reservation to 3 after I saw it was for 2. On line. Long story short I was put in the bar area, none of us our alcohol drinkers. We weren't asked if we wanted to sit anywhere else. Kinda blew my Mother's Day surprise. I guess that's a restaurant problem with your staff. Food and service were good though.
4th visit, worth revisiting, friendly service, good value...menu could have a few more options for "clean" eaters, pescatarian, veg
The food was delicious. There was a bit of delay/confusion in receiving entrees but the staff more than made up for it. Will definitely dine at Marcella's again.
went here for mothers day brunch. they don't usually do brunch, but are apparently going to start this summer. it was excellent! and during brunch, they still offer the whole rest of their menu for lunch/dinner. it was great food! great ambiance, great view of downtown. and we didn't sit outside because it was too cold, but they patio outside is so charming. we definitely will be back. I'm still dreaming about their tomato basil soup.
The food was tasty but the menu wasn't particularly exciting.
The food was fantastic, the service did not meet our expectations her server it appeared had too many tables. I do not feel they had enough staff on to handle the amount of people that had come in for dinner. And that just hurt service
Food was very good, but there was a delay in the food getting to the table. The server and floor manager were apologetic and made every attempt to make up for it. It was greatly appreciated and showed they genuinely care about the experience. I definitely will return.
This is a great overall restaurant. Food is good, service is excellent.
This was our 3rd time and we will be back for sure. Love the food, service, and prices are a good value. Decent wine list and craft cocktails are fun! Compare to Quality Italian in Cherry Creek, and Carmines in Wash Park. This place blows both of them away.
Well run restaurant with great manager and excellent food.
Had a really great time, the service was outstanding, definitely planning on coming back.
Great food & wine list! Service was exceptional - ambiance was perfect! Highly recommend!
This was my 3rd dinner at Marcella's within 2 weeks - it is officially my go-to I've been looking for close to home and while I wouldn't call it "cozy" becuase it's a fairly large dining room, it is still very comfortable. The chicken piccata (first time I had an entree), was cooked to perfection. That is one of those things I'm going to crave I'm sure of it. I'm pretty sure I'll become a regular.
The four of us had a most enjoyable evening. Our waiter was very informative about the menu and provided spot on service to our table. The appetizer, “Melted Percorino Cheese” was delicious. The Caesar salad was tasty, and the lasagna, sea bass special and spaghetti and meatball main course dishes were very good.
Great service, great food. Amazing place overall
Marcella's provides a mouth-watering dining experience - delicious food, excellent service, and reasonable prices.
Things were good but we ordered two bottles of wine and took a long while to get the second bottle. The service was friendly but sometimes took a long time to get waiters attention. We live a couple blocks away and it was our first time in. We were celebrating my dads 72nd birthday. With the overall experience and food wait times; its hard to say if we will be back.
Saturday night at a Denver restaurant -- you have to expect noise. We were happy that the hubbub at Marcella's was very bearable, easy to talk. Nice service, delicious food, good wine choices at fair prices. Really liked this place and hope to return soon.
We were celebrating a promotion and had such a wonderful time! Food and service was amazing! We're lovers of Italian food and it did not disappoint. We're Ohio natives, so having Marcella's in Denver is a huge plus, we missed it!! Great views of the city and out of this world cannoli's - so make room for dessert!
Loved the wine selection. Great cheese, cured meats and antipasti. Plus the spaghetti and meatballs.
Love this place. Food is great. The bar area has a fun vibe. Great for meeting friends.
The incredible happy hour was only surpassed by the quality of the food. This place definitely made the list of place we will revisit!
Brilliant comfort Italian.
Had such wonderful service! And we go there before 6:30 so we got our appetizers and our wine 1/2 off. We got a meat and cheese plate and it was so delicious. They also make their own artisan gluten free bread. I will now be my go to place!
Such a great happy hour deal and the food is delicious, the service is awesome (everyone is so nice) and they are so family friendly. We love it! They also have an entire gluten free menu.
We went for a birthday dinner, and the food from apps to dessert was delicious! Our server was friendly, and the manager stopped by the table a few times to check in, as well. Overall, a lovely dining experience! The patio looked lovely for afternoon/evening dining too. We will be going back again!
Best Italian in Denver metro area hands down.
The food is good, standard Italian, just not as great as some of the other choices in town.
The service was excellent, the atmosphere is fun and lively, the location is convienent.
The noise level was a bit much at times & you are somewhat packed in. However, the food & drinks were definitely worth it. Both of our entrees were cooked to perfection with a reasonable wait time. Menu is quite extensive so I was wondering about food quality. I was not disappointed.
Marcella’s was a great spot for a good Italian standards with quality service and a buzzy atmosphere. It was on the noisier side for good conversation, but was lively and had a good energy. The neighborhood features many other bars/restaurants to sample around on. We would return.
My husband and I dined at Marcella’s on Easter Sunday. The entire experience was outstanding. Great server, food was delicious. We ate every bite and asked for bread to sop up the remainder sauce. I had the Mezzaluna ravioli and my husband had the lamb gnocchi. The gnocchi was his second choice because the lasagna had sold out but he was thrilled with his meal. We definitely will eat there again and highly recommend.
Best Easter Brunch! I’ve eaten at the location on High street in Cbus a million times. The Denver location was just as lovely.
