   This whole experience was not enjoyable and it felt like the restaurant accepted way too many reservations/parties than they could handle for the day. We made reservations for 645pm on Mother’s Day for the patio. Upon checking in, we were told it’d be an additional 30 mins until we can be seated. I mentioned we will need a high chair because we had a one year with us and the host noted that. When we received our text that our table was ready, we went in and they were planning to give us a high top table which would not of worked with our high chair request because the host had forgot. They then opened up a new table for us inside a small room, so we weren’t seated on the patio from our original reservation. Our food also took so long to come out we had to have it placed in to go containers because our baby was getting fussier. We waited around 40+ mins after we had finished our appetizer to have our food served which was well over an hour since it had been ordered. To add, we never received small requests from our server that were asked by us multiple times. We also never were able to order more drinks because the server didn’t come around and our food had to be taken to go.

   Went for dinner for 6 on Mother’s Day. Had reservations. Upon arrival, hostess said they were running about 20 minutes behind. She was not apologetic at all. We waited 45 minutes for our table. Kitchen was running way behind. Server was delightful. Salad wasn’t great but the rest of the food was great. Overall dining experience without dessert took 2-1/2 hours.

   I am a regular Marcella’s-goer. Normally, the food is excellent and the service is good. However, I would suggest a different restaurant if you are going on a holiday (example: we went for Mother’s Day). We waited 90 minutes for food after we ordered. The wait staff was less than pleasant, and food was lukewarm when served. On a normal day, I have had a good experience. But, it seems on a holiday they struggle to keep up.

   1pm reservation. They wanted a credit card (to charge us if we didn’t honor our reservation). Then left us standing at the front desk for 35 minutes after our reservation. 1pm reservation - we finally got our food at 2:50pm.

   Food was good, as usual. However we waited over an hour for our entrees. There were only three in our party. We ordered an appetizer when we ordered our meal and it came out in 10 minutes or so. We then waited another 50 minutes for our meal to come out. Our server stopped by the table every 10-15 minutes to tell us our meals would be up soon. Not the service I’ve experienced on past visits.

   This was the first time our table was on the patio. We enjoyed it. It was certainly more quiet than inside dinning. Food was great! They have the best Italian food in the city in our opinion. We always come here for celebrations and other occasions. It's my wife's favorite restaurant. We highly recommend them for a great place to east great food and we'll definitely be back.
