   An excellent French inspired restaurant. The chef-owner is experienced, trained & educated. He mixes French influences with dishes not typically French. I would go here without hesitation. Try the cucumber gaspacho soup, grilled octopus, sea scallops & rack of lamb. Service was very good but a little slow out of the kitchen and music not quite conducive to relaxed dining.

   I love this restaurant! The complexity of flavors in the dishes is fantastic. I had the peppered salmon and my friend had the special, a crayfish pot pie. I always feel the care and attention of both the waiter and chef.

   Every time I come to this restaurant, the experience is consistently the same. Outstanding. The space is intimate, so you can have dinner conversation. Everything I’ve ordered has been delicious. It’s high quality, not high priced. The service is superior. It’s extremely well managed.

   Marcel DW is a hidden gem in Sarasota. The food is impeccable (can’t say enough for the green beans and the Steak Frites), service is unparalleled, and the value is unmatched. Don’t sleep on this restaurant.

   Dinner was fabulous! Great service and quality. Relatively quiet and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and will go again.

   The food choices are always excellent which makes it hard to decide what to order. Lobster bisque was divine and the scallops so good. This is a charming spot to dine.

   Small, intimate restaurant with great food and service. We were a party of 6 and all were very pleased with our experience. Will be back.

   Service was great and the Chef owner came out to great us food was awesome and perfect portions. We finished everything. The next time I think we would order everything to share so we have a chance to try mir items. It’s more like a Tapas style. Pricing is very good. We will return. Wheel chair was easy to maneuver
