    Well, this was our first time and we were excited to go because so many people raved about it. Things started out great when I made the reservation and they were able to make one change to it at the last minute and accommodate us with seating at the bar which we usually love. There’s so much more interaction with the bartender as well as other patrons, but that wasn’t the case last night. There were two bartenders in between them, they probably spoke less than 100 words to us for the entire evening! It was like pulling teeth to get an explanation to any of our questions about the menu. Even the bartenders attitude was very poor overall. Some of the food was good, but we were trying to figure out a type of very creamy potato that people had recommended and the first potatoes. The bartender ordered for us, came out extremely overcooked and burnt on top and he even agreed with that. After pulling some more teeth in a discussion with him, we tried another potato that was probably the one we were looking for, except it was like Dishing out wallpaper paste. It was so thick and extremely salty. I had heard rave reviews about the burger so I ordered one. The burger itself was delicious, but it definitely did not have the aïoli sauce that apparently makes the thing top-notch. I hate giving poor reviews, but I feel strongly that if I don’t say something then the Restaurant doesn’t know and if they don’t know then nothing changes. Definitely not the high-end experience we heard so many people rave about.

    Delicious as always!! Absolutely Love Marcel. Filet au gratin potato’s , tartare and bone marrow sooo good. And the bread is divine… never disappointed

    The service and the kitchen were off. We were a party of 6. 2 ordered club sodas which showed up 30 minutes later. 4 salads showed up while we waited 10 minutes for the other 2. And our steaks were not cooked to order. The worst case being a filet ordered medium rare plus which showed up very rare, sent back, next was very rare, sent back and the third still under cooked was kept. The waiter did take it off the check but the experience was terrible for our friend who had to wait 20 minutes to eat. We’ve been to Marcel’s numerous times (and by the way, our server should know that instead of asking if this is our first visit). Over the roughly 20 times we’ve been there, the service has been erratic but the food always excellent. We had dinner at Kaiser’s Friday night and everything was great as it always is. We won’t come back to Marcel’s anymore. There are too many more consistent dining options.

    Wonderful experience. Fabulous environment. Service and staffing was first class. We would have preferred the tables be spaced a little further apart. A little difficult to find since there is no sign on the front of the restaurant. Would highly recommend

    A Perfect Birthday at Marcel’s I celebrated my birthday at Marcel’s and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The ambiance was elegant, the food was exquisite, and the service was exceptional. Every course was beautifully prepared, and the staff went above and beyond to make the evening feel special. Thank you, Marcel’s, for an unforgettable celebration!

    Excellent service and meal as usual! Marcel is a must visit for a nice Steak. Always has great cocktails and ambience. Will be back soon!

    We have never been until last night for my husbands 50th Birthday dinner. They went above and beyond to make it amazing. We will be back. Thank you Marcel for an amazing dinner

    We love Marcel. It is definitely a once a year occasion as a two person dinner especially with steak will probably be $250+ High quality everything, just pricing makes it a special occasion place unless you make 750k+ a year.
