Nice place to have a great lunch and enjoy your party's company. The service staff were fabulous.
Empty restaurant and they sat us in empty cold concrete patio near exit door
The remodeled Marc seating is great. Still needs some work on after dark views of the grapevines. Food and service have improved 100% since opening. They have some top shelf wines by the bottle though still only Chateau Elan selection by the glass. While structured to accommodate the captive hotel guests, it is worth the drive for Atlanta locals
The restaurant was clean and beautiful, and the servers was very friendly. The food wasn’t anything spectacular and it was a bit overpriced. However, it was a pleasant evening to a great weekend!
Great food and ambiance. The service was outstanding and the food tasted great. Will definitely come again in the future.
Food was ok, but service was awful. We had a 200.00 meal but our waiter came to the table twice. We were out of drinks and it took 30 mins to get the check. Would not go back for a mediocre steak.
My friends and I had a wonderful experience at the Marc Restaurant. I would suggest some gluten free options for pre dinner breads! But otherwise, we all enjoyed our entrees. And the mood and ambience was awesome!
Wow! Food was amazing and the service was top notch. Truly enjoyed my Anniversary dinner with my wife and will definitely be back. Thank you for Making an Anniversary one to remember!
Our lunch was fabulous, the view outside was great and the server was very attentive.
However, I do need to make a note that the cleanliness could have been a lot better. We were seated at a 4 top by the wall which had dried on brown drips running down it behind us. Quite disgusting! Thank goodness we noticed it as we stood up to leave.
Marc Bar is situated inside the winery at Chateau Elan. Very nice ambiance on the porch. Our server and chef were very accomodating with our food allergies and requests. Very nice experience.
Food was amazing. Every course was very good. Our waiter was phenomenal. Highly recommend!
Wonderful server .
Disappointed that bar closed at 9 pm for a private event on a Saturday night.
Nice combination of classy and fun
It was a bit loud since the football game was on at the bar but was to be expected. Food is always great and we love the finished construction of restaurant! Is expensive !
Beautiful spot overlooking vineyard, the staff was very attentive. Our lunch entrees were perfectly done
We love this restaurant we have been several times as we live here and also enjoyed the Haunted Vineyardfest dinner in October
Service was excellent. Food and beverages are overpriced. The quality is just so-so.
Our meal was perfect! Loved the charcuterie!! We recommend this place for a date night.
We truly enjoyed our meal. My husband had a rib eye with foie gras butter while I had the sea scallops. The sea scallops were the better of the two. If you are there for a romantic dinner, you need to ask for seating in the area with doors. The general dining was VERY loud due to weddings and such. We would dine here again.
The ambiance and the scenery was nice as expected, but the food was mediocre.
My husband and I spent our 4 year anniversary here. The drinks were amazing and the hosts allowed us to enjoy our drinks outside before we were seated at our table. They were amazing and made us feel very special on our anniversary. The food was incredible. Everything we ordered was PERFECT! Can't wait to visit again.
The appetizers and soups were outstanding. Real lobster in the lobster bisque! The braised pork cheeks were perfect! Recommend skipping the pasta entree since the braised meat was really mushy; however the pork chop was very satisfying
Really nice environment for some friends to gather and catch-up. Great food and service was Outstanding! :)
Great place for a quiet weekend lunch. Great food, service, atmosphere. Will definitely go back.
My wife and I went there on a Wednesday night. The restaurant was not busy so it was very quiet. Nice place and atmosphere.
The food was delicious, we will definitely be back.
Celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and thought MARC would be a nice place to dine. There is a lovely portico overlooking the vineyards which should have added to the ambiance but the glass windows and acrylic barrier were filthy....bugs, dirt and cobwebs became the focal points instead of the view beyond. The meal started with great smelling rolls which became harder than hockey pucks within seconds....waiter brought second plate which were better but you wonder why are they serving stale rolls? Starters were on the heavy side....pork cheeks were reminiscent of Oso Bucco - would have been better if half the pork was served shredded over the shaved fennel vinaigrette....lobster soup was very creamy and my husband enjoyed it but also thought it heavy for a starter. Main course-scallops were delicious, streak was eeh....not fresh and heavily seasoned so the taste of the meat was obscured. The giant palmetto bug landing at my foot and crawling up the wall was a bit off putting as was the odor emanating from one corner of the room (? Sewer?). Dessert was delicious and the staff clearly cared and wanted to give us a special night...the complimentary champagne was a nice touch. They post on their menu a corking fee ( $15 for Chateau wines, $25 for outside wine) - but many of the patrons we overheard, took that to mean it would be charged as an additional fee when buying a bottle for the table or even added to the per glass price......kept folks from buying wine....they should clarify that on the menu.
Overall, an OK experience but wasn’t worth the price. We would need to think about it before returning.
We did enjoy our lunch. Food was great. Atmosphere was nice and service was excellent. However, we were there celebrating a birthday and noted this on open table when making the reservation. Nothing special was done. (Wonder why they even asked this). In fact, a friend who could not make it arranged with management to “surprise” the birthday girl with a bottle of wine and prepaid $40.00 for the wine . It was just placed on the table (no card, not wrapped, etc). If I had not been told ahead of time that this was going to happen, no one would have known who the wine was from or why the bottle was on the table. This may sound petty, but I was a bit disappointed that the restaurant didn’t acknowledge this special occasion.
Had a meetup with a few ladies for lunch and wine tasting. Our waiter was very nice and attentive, loved the ambiance and my choice of food was delicious. Salmon was cooked perfectly! I Some ladies tried the shrimp and grits, however they all said it was too salty otherwise it would have been perfect.
we plan on visiting again soon.
Dinner was simply not good.Beautiful restaurant upon entry, but it definitely does not live up to the initial entrance. From start to finish, there were just so many "misses". Extremely bright on the porch/area overlooking the vineyard (was told the lights weren't dimmable),no music on (was told it wasn't working & we were left trying to be quieter than we should have had to me & feel like we were at a restaurant at closing time with the lights turned on. Server pleasant but almost detached. Food came flying out (probably because they were not busy at all...& it was a Saturday PM) salad on top of appetizer. When we asked to slow it down as we were in no hurry, you guessed it,the entrees took forever (why not simply ask if we are ready for our entrees to be prepared). My entree was actually pretty good-scallops with grits and succotash but my girlfriend's entree, The Borsin Duxelle chicken was literally smothered in a soupy/runny risotta that was neither pleasing to the eye or the palate. It looked like a glob of mush on a plate. The biggest kicker was NOT ONE TIME did anyone simply say "how is everything?" This has never happened to me in any restaurant! 2 more kickers to finish it off. Server overcharged us for a "dinner package" that we told her, when she asked at start of meal, that we did not have. She apologized & came back with a corrected bill and gave her my credit card. She came back and AGAIN had the bill with the package but this time charged my card.I corrected her and she brought it back & I clearly knew my card was charged & funds would be held on for at least 1-3 days due to her error.I asked to speak with the manager...I saw him once earlier.Told him all of this & he seemed very uncomfortable & even surprised/shocked.He said that he is surprised he didn't visit my table & I told him, I saw him visit one table & another 5 he didn't. Did not offer ANYTHING tangible for all of these clear misses and poor meal. Noidea how they get any positive reviews.
I'm a travel agent and I have never had a manager be so rude. We had about 20 people come for a friends 40th. So not I would not recommend this place to Friend or any of my Clients.
The cheese plate appetizer was very good. I’m sorry to say there is no steak that is worth $50 everything else was fine
Wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion or a great meal with friends
The food and space was fantastic however, our server was really slow and not attentive to our needs. We had empty water glasses waiting to be refilled for almost the entire duration of the meal. We spent more time waiting for our server to take our order, bring our food, and bring the check than we did eating the meal. This did not seem to be the case for the other tables around us that had other servers. Lastly, we made note that we were celebrating a birthday, and rather than offer us a dessert menu, the server mentioned only a few dessert options as she was walking away back to the kitchen. We decided to not waste any other time or money and simply took our drinks to go.
I would absolutely recommend Marc Bar as long as you don't sit in our server's section on the enclosed patio.
There was a great variety on the menu, every item was outstanding, and the personality of the staff was wonderful. I highly recommend the scallops and t-bone steak, and the compound butter that came out with the bread was to die for.
It was a lovely dinner celebrating a birthday. The service was ok, not great. One of us had to send filet back to be cooked again and server was topping off our wine glasses with wrong wine and mixing them. Not sure what that was about. The food was amazing and it was a good experience overall.
Food and service was very good. Noise from the wine tasting area kind of overpowered our conversation.
Amazing is all i can say. Attention to detail and the drinking ugh
Thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Marc’s. everything from the service to food was excellent. We will definitely return again.
The previous restaurant in the winery was not as much like a "sports bar" and we liked the ambiance better. That being said the service and the food at Marc's were excellent. I 'd recommend eating on the porch for a great view rather than eating in the main dining area.
