Great service. The croquetas were amazing
Food was average. The service was very poor. We didn’t get our drinks until after our appetizers were served. We didn’t get checked in on once during our meal, had to ask another staff member for the check. One of my party members got the steak and it was unpalatable. The shrimp in all of the dishes were one half of an inch squared. I booked this reservation under the impression that the menu matched the one on open table, but it was completely different from the actual menu. I do not recommend this restaurant. Felt like a chain vibe.
Great service and amazing quality of food!
Food was cold and service slow. Only one waiter for the entire place.
Great Service.. Tasty Cuban Experience!!
Sadly did not have multiple things available on their menu which can be a red flag. But once we finally ordered from what was available, food was great. Server could use some skills in marketing. When we asked about the fish he described it as fish sticks. Not so appealing for a nicer restaurant. Also we got a warning at 09:10 pm that their kitchen was closing in case we wanted dessert. The resteraunt closing time is listed as 10 pm! Consistency would be nice.
This place was awesome the food was amazing our server was amazing the atmosphere is very unique and fun honestly our favorite place for food from our whole trip!
Very slow service. Mediocre food. Good ambiance.
Great food. Ceviche portion is bit small but tastes amazing. Def will be back.
The ambiance of the restaurant is excellent. The food is not that good in comparison with the beginning of the restaurant. For a cuban restaurant did not have pork. The service was rush and pushing us to finish which made the experience too much not well received.
Food was phenomenal, mojitos were amazing and service was excellent. Definitely going back and I already recommended it to several friends and family.
We had a really good time. The waiter & the Manager provided optimal customer service. We will be back
Food was great and the atmosphere was very authentic. Our server Rafael was awesome!
Waiter needs to improve his customer service skills, he was very rude and not welcoming at all to myself and my family that were visiting.
Super busy night with lots of spring breakers but our server was great! Food took a while to arrive but everything was in good order. (They even ran out of lechon!) Marabú mojito a must-try.
Best Cuban food from a restaurant we’ve had. Bar none.
Empanadas should be 3pcs for that price, but very good.
Parsley & Cilantro should be stemmed before putting on plate—use the stems in the chimichurri (no waste).
Ordered Lechon & Cuban Fried Rice and it fed 3 with leftovers.
DEFINITELY will return.
(Music was way too loud. Couldn’t hold conversations at table, especially with masks)
Great ambience, service was very efficient, but relaxed. Don’t go here expecting “fast food”. Fried pork, yuca, plantains, all really delicious. Moderately priced. Outdoor dining styled very well!
The food was solid. Unfortunately, the service was very slow.
The food was good but the ambience was very chaotic especially sitting in the outer part thats just right in the mall. Service wasn’t as attentive as I expected.
Worst service- 45 minute wait till the first appetizers. Plus bad food.
This was my second visit to Marabû. The first visit was good. On my first visit, the service was great, we had a great waiter who was attentive and responsive. The food tasted good and prepared and served well.
So, on my second visit to Marabû, I decided to take my friends to the restaurant. We were seated immediately. One of our friends was running late. The waiter did not show up for quite a while. He eventually did, dropped off the menus, did not ask if we wanted anything to drink while we waited for our friend. He said that we should order appetizers and the entrees at the same time and left. He never looked at us until our friend showed up. After our friend joined us, he took our orders. The drinks showed up immediately. It took a while for us to get our appetizers. One of our appetizers never showed up. It took was quite a while (1 hour+) before we got our entrees. In the meantime, all the other tables received their food, even the ones that were seated and ordered after us. The fish entrees were overcooked, crisp at the edges, and burnt on the bottom. The meat entrees were crisp on the top, looked like they were sitting under a heat lamp for a long time.
The waiter seemed to be busy talking to other tables and socializing with other staff the entire time. We had to get his attention to get our check.
Bad bad bad. I had a reservation for 9pm, and by 9:01, the hostess had already called me twice threatening to give my table away. I arrived at 9:03.
It took the restaurant over 30 minutes to get us drinks and over an hour for food — the order was also incomplete, and missing a few side dishes.
The service was *slow.* Not just a little slow, but *very slow.* We ordered a bottle of wine that took about a half hour to come out and we finished the whole bottle before our appetizers arrived about an hour after the wine.
However, once the food arrived it was *amazing.* We ordered the croquetas and the ceviche, both of which were delicious, and the Tasajo (short rib) and the Churrasco (skirt steak). Both were cooked to perfection—the short rib was melt-in-your-mouth—and the skirt steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare.
Our server, Cesar was very attentive and apologetic about the wait. He was also helpful with navigating the menu. Everything we ordered was recommended by him and he didn’t miss.
Overall, the extended wait wasn’t great, but the quality of the food and our server made up for it.
Service was great but food was not that good. At least the churrasco I got was a poor quality hard to chew meat and it’s not cheap at all lol.
Horrible service undercooked meal would not recommend
Great Cuban food, great restaurant. Mojitos very good!!!!
Not authentic Cuban food. Ropa vieja has an Asian sauce and should be described as fusion not authentic Cuban as recommended by the waiter
Our experience was amazing. Our waiter was outstanding will definitely recommend friends and family to go.
Horrible experience! They took over 10 minutes to take our order and 1 hour and 20 minutes to serve the food. By the time the food arrived, I was not even hungry anymore. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!!
This was a great experience, I would definitely this place to other people.
The food took to much time to be on our table
The service was not good. We were seated and no one came to attend us. The manager noticed and had to come and assist us. We order the octopus appetizer and I mentioned it was cold they did nothing regarding the matter. Both mojitos drinks that I tried were not good. The meal the rice and beans were cold and those were replaced with a hot plate. It was my husband's birthday and I mentioned it to the waiter and order the 4 leches. It took over 20 minutes to get the dessert with no candles and no one sang happy birthday. I had to sign since no one was there to make his celebration special. BTW I mentioned it was his birthday at the time I made the reservation as well. Will not go again. Overly priced cuban food that's not even that good.
I will 100% be returning. The food was amazing, and the staff was excellent.
Great server! Yummy food!
It is very very pretty and inviting. Definitely a place for drinks but I was not impressed with food unfortunately. We went with intentions of having Brunch as their website and social media pages indicated and when we arrived they told us they no longer have Brunch and that the web pages/social media is incorrect. We still decided to stay. Our waiter was very nice overall. In all it was not a bad experience.
It was a combination of mediocre food, friendly service and a bit uncomfortable being in such a packed restaurant during Covid 19. Wish they had done more separation of tables
Despite having reservations (which was confirmed by separate text message), restaurant was closed. Very inconvenient and disappointing, especially since it occurred on Christmas Day.
Went there for a lunch special. Served a half bowl of soup (not sure why) but was tasty. Portions looked small but together was enough food.
The food is superb, distinctive, and far higher in quality and flavor than "normal" Miami Cuban. Service is very gracious and warm. You will be glad you went here!
