Awesome affordable place for brunch. 30 bucks, 2 hour bottomless with food included. Great location right in Times Square and close to public transportation

Great service and food but beware of the service charge that they do not tell you about in person or on the website

Visited New York from out of town and got this restaurant recommended for brunch. It was a great value, the food was great and the service was amazing!

They took a bit of time to respond to their phone on multiple occasion when i wanted to update update. This restaurant is in a hotel, so it was quiet on a Sunday.

I am incredibly disappointed by my experience. I have eaten at Maple before for brunch and dinner and the food and experiences were both fantastic. This time the server made us feel rushed, the food came out much too quickly, and the quality of the 3 appetizers we ordered was atrocious. I fear Maple is going the way of KBC next door, where they have grown so used to having regular business, that the quality of their food (and service) goes down the drain. This was a first date, and I blew this place up with praise, and was whole-heartedly disappointed and slightly embarrassed. I will not be coming to Maple ever again for night-time appetizers. It was like the kitchen staff were bored and wanting to go home and they just threw together out order with zero effort or care for the customer, presentation, or quality of the food.

Had a work lunch with 3 other colleagues and the place was very quiet (only 3-4 other tables being served). One person's tuna sandwich request was for it to be served med. rare and it came out well done. Our waitress seemed very distracted throughout our lunch and we had to wait over 15 minutes to get the check. Now I understand why the place was not crowded.

I'm sure this is an OK place to have a drink, but as a pre-theater dinner option, don't bother. My fish tacos weren't warm enough and the accompanying rice and beans had a mildly putrid smell. The fish and chips was a huge mound of french fries with a small portion of over-fried, dried out fish; and the steak came covered with an unpleasant, gelatinous sauce. One of the worst restaurant meals I have ever had in New York. Our waitress, by the way, was pleasant and efficient.

We decided on Maple because it was down the street from the theatre we were going to, which seemed to be the draw for a number of others who streamed in at 6:30. We ordered a salmon burger (dried out, tasteless) and the the Maple burger (meat ok, tough bacon) and lame salads on the side of each. For $22 burgers it was way overpriced. The place also smelled like cleaning product. They have a happy hour, so if you just want a quick, cheap dink in this neighborhood, I guess it would be fine...

We are visiting NYC and found this restaurant on Yelp where there were some good reviews. The place was empty at 6:00 pm. Older folks only. The food was just okay, I had a Caesar salad (so boring and no flavor ) and fish & chips (okay). My daughter had a burger and said it was pretty good. The service was slow but the waitress was sweet. When we asked for bread she brought out what was basically white toasted bread, nothing gourmet.

Calm, conversation-friendly, comfortable pre-theater dining with attentive yet unobtrusive service on a Saturday in June. The salmon was excellent, the mac-and-cheese was classic, and the veggie burger satisfied an omnivore. The dessert menu was limited to two heavy items (chocolate fudge layer cake and NY cheesecake) so we skipped it.

We had pre-matinee brunch here and the food was fine although overpriced. But for Times Square area was not as touristy as most. Huevos Rancheros were very tasty and the veggie burger although made in house was pretty good too. No dessert options.

The manager was so helpful ensuring that we would be able to dine with enough time to make it to our show at 8pm.
Seems like a great place to relax and have a drink.
The fish tacos were awesome!

We booked because the restaurant was close to the theatre and it got great reviews here. However, the atmosphere was odd -- a hotel restaurant with a wooded decor and the food was price-y and only ok.

Great Sunday Brunch - the Mac and Cheese was amazing and the BLT very good, though the seasoning on the fries was a bit much. The deal is $30 for bottomless mimosa/bloody mary and a brunch entree. We weren't feeling like drinking, so they charged us $20 and we purchased beverages a la carte. We did feel a little shamed that we weren't drinking, but the staff was friendly and accommodating. The space is rustic-modern in what was the nightclub at the stay hotel, now called something different.

I took out of town friends here for a pre show dinner. We are all foodies, and I was eager to share a new experience in the theater district. I loved the look of the place, so unique and welcoming. The staff was warm, friendly, helpful, un-intrusive. The menu looked good. The food was mediocre at best. We shared the "dipping" app which was tasty but teeny. Fish tacos were flavorless, the pad thai was dry, the fish and chips oily, the "chips" moist, lamb chops were fine. The mac and cheese lacked zip and the meatballs were unexceptional. It was a disappointing experience from a culinary standpoint, 'tho I would visit it again for the atmosphere for drinks and appetizers. It's a convenient location and a charming spot, but the kitchen lacks the expertise.

Of all the restaurants that I have booked thru Open Table this was the worst. Service was so poor, the waiter could not explain the soup of the day. The he had not idea what beers they had and the wait was so long. The soup turned out good bot the tomato in the grilled cheese sandwich was so hard and unripe that I had to open the sandwich and take it out so I could each the sandwich. The ice tea had been made in a coffee machine that had not been cleaned out and tasted more like coffee than ice tea. Totally undrinkable. The waiter tasted it and agreed it was undrinkable.

We went for brunch and it was fantastic. The service was very attentive and friendly! I had their French Toast and my friend had their Mac & Cheese with a side of home fries.... no complaints what so ever! SOOOO Good!!!! We both enjoyed the bottomless Mimosas; which were a little light on the OJ, but we were no complaining at all!! Love this place, love the feel of the decor (nice and warm), love the food and staff! Would go back in a heartbeat!

I chose Maple because they serve weekend brunch and it's convenient to Times Square. My French Toast was excellent; however, the menu said that it came with maple syrup. Since the name of the place is "Maple" I expected real maple syrup. But it wasn't. I keep a jug of the real stuff in my fridge, so I know what the real stuff tastes like and how it behaves when it's poured. This wasn't real. Not only that, when I asked for an espresso at the end of the meal, the waitron said that the machine was broken and that they hadn't replaced it. I find it hard to understand how a restaurant attached to a very fancy, very modern hotel, that has original art work in the lobby, as well as a very large sculptural salt-water aquarium, can skimp on repairing or replacing an espresso machine; or how they could print "maple syrup" on their menu when they mean "pancake syrup (made with high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavor, and preservatives)." I unhappily expect that at a diner - not at a place like this. There is plenty of competition in the City, so if you skimp, you're not going to get repeat business.

Entrance to restaurant smelled like a glade plug-in. Food was basically inedible- over-seasoned and overcooked. Service was inattentive for a practically empty restaurant. Might be ok for tourists. Shameful waste of money for a New Yorker. Plan ahead and get a pre-theater reservation literally anywhere else. Or just have a hot dog on the street.

It was the week before Christmas and 2 of my colleagues and myself decided to have a Christmas lunch. The place was decorated beautifully for the holidays. We even loved the fake fireplace! The food and the service were excellent. But I have to say the place was empty which I found surprising since the food was so good. It could be because of the holiday but I've been there before at lunchtime in the summer and it was the same situation. So if you are looking for a great place to have a quiet lunch go here.
