We planned a last minute dinner with a few friends. We don’t get together very often so it was the perfect place for us to sit and enjoy each other’s company. We grabbed a platter of bbq to share. Portions were large and shareable. The food and drinks were great. They had space heaters which made it comfortable for us to sit outside. Definitely a great place to have dinner.

Maple Block is the real deal. Warm welcome. Kind and efficient service. Curing the meal several visits by the manager and serve to make sure we were happy. Yes we were! A BBQ place should look and feel like a dive, and serve great food. One unusual dish — the bowl of pickled vegetables. Our group of 3 ordered two portions, thinking we woudl get a small bowl of a few chips. Wrong. An enormous bowl of pickled veggies. And the biscuits are perfect.

The waiter would forget to bring us things we asked for. Our beers were forgotten, and the food came out way faster tha. The drinks. And we asked for a dessert menu and he brought us the check instead.

Nice server but every single item came to table cold. When we went to tell manager she appeared annoyed and defensive. They took food back begrudgingly and seemed to just reheat food and it came back over cooked and tough. We did not eat any of it - when manager returned she looked at the full trays and still asked "how was it?" - we told her not a good experience. They ended up not charging us (which was right thing to do), but made us feel like the "bad guy" - we left hungry/disappointed. Will not return

Food was tepid, atmosphere was not welcoming. The servers were fine, but the young man who seemed to be running the floor that "greeted" us seemed as if he was annoyed by our presence when we arrived and seemed further annoyed that we didn't know exactly where to check in. I always like to try new places to see if they would be a fit to cater the office of 70 real estate professionals that I manage, but this place didn't make the cut.

My Monday 10/24/22 12pm lunch reservation was accepted and confirmed but when I arrived I found the restaurant CLOSED due to modified hours. Someone dropped the ball and failed to tell me so my experience was POOR AND FRUSTRATING to say the least. This was definitely a left hand not talking to the right hand FAILURE. Pull it together Maple Block!

disappointing. way over priced 80 bucks for two people the ribs. were barely warm and 24 bucks i think for 4 ribs. and it wasn’t a rack but a pound ? i had to have a loaded potato which was better than the ribs

Service was a bit slow… BBQ chicken salad was bland and not enjoyable. There were many flies while dining inside. We Dinned here often a few years ago- it was fabulous. Sorry to say food and service has definitely suffered. Will not return.

We ordered the lean brisket and pork ribs. The brisket seemed like it had been sliced and refrigerated, and they just reheated it. You could barely cut it with a knife. Even the fatty parts were tough. The ribs were tough as well - not even close to falling off the bone. I’m thinking they had a bad night, but honestly, it was just terrible. One of the pieces of brisket was a long end piece. It was all salty seasoning and no meat, but they charge by the pound, and it was 3 oz of inedible meat.

They had our reservation and let us in 15 min early. The staff was very outgoing, setting up a heater close to our outside table. They had the NBA Playoff game on a big screen outside, which was very convenient. It was our first time there, but we definitely want to come back!

It was a Friday so we came expecting pastrami (as advertised!). However, they had run out by 6:30 PM. But we are flexible and stayed for the turkey (amazing white sauce to go with it) and the brisket (tender—even when ordered the leanest cut). Sausage (which they also make there) was excellent. I also appreciate generous portions of Prosecco/wine.

Tasty barbecue, but understaffed for Mother's Day brunch. Food was good, not great. But the service was not up to par, especially for a busy holiday. I had asked for certain ingredients to be left off my order, which was completely ignored, so I had to send it back. The waiter never brought sweetener for the drinks, so I had to ask the host. Took forever to get the check. Disappointing.

Second.time through and the service and beverages.were very good as before. The food not so much. We ordered the ribs and brisket. Unfortunately the food was lukewarm and tough with little flavor. I will go back one more time but so far this isn't Texas barbecue

Great selection of beers on-tap and in cans. Good BBQ with a wide variety of non-traditional sauces (chimichurri, Carolina, and some others). The vinegar slaw (they have creamy too) and the potato salad were a great surprise. The latter isn't fancy, but it's chunky and comforting.

This place is great! My husband eats a lot of BBQ and says this is some of the best he's had! He had the chicken and brisket with mac and cheese and beans. I had the smoked sausage with potato salad and tomatoes/cucumbers. Our trays were completely empty at the end! The Arnold Palmers were refreshing and served in mason glasses. The staff was super friendly as well. Don't skip this place! You'll regret it if you do.

I went there for a small get-together on Saturday afternoon, and we dined inside the restaurant. It was perfect. A very attentive server suggested a couple of menu options for us, and the food was fantastic. It is a hidden gem. I lived in the neighborhood for a long time and did not even know it was so cute inside. I highly recommend this place.
