It was a busy night for staff when we visited and unfortunately our request to sit outside under verandah had not been picked up when booking online. Staff were great however in end we decided on inside table rather than out under the sky as it was a bit chilly. Croquets were a special and too salty. Calamari delish. Goldband snapper yum, crab pasta really tasty once again bit salty. Citris tart yum. The staff were really under pump however helped us as soon as they could and were friendly and smiley even though they were pushed to cater for everyone. We liked that there was a Shiraz option for $48. All in all good atmosphere even with a packed house. We will go again.

Wasn’t sure what to expect of the food in Exmouth, went here for dinner on our first night. They had lots of local seafood which was lovely. The scallops with yuzu sauce were awesome. My husband and I were both pleasantly surprised. We sat outside and there was also a lovely view over the water. The service was a bit slow, so don’t go if you’re in a rush, but all the waiters and waitresses were lovely. Overall I would recommend eating here.

Generally nice meal but a few disappointing factors that Is a shame for the cost of the night. And it’s because of the cost of the night that we hold high expectations. Had requested a high chair for my 1 year old when I made the booking. But never was offered one at restaurant….yes I never reminded them but was honestly surprised to not be catered too considering it’s such a highly rated restaurant. I missed the note at bottom of children’s menu that entertainment packs were available. Never got offered some for kids even though, waiters would have seen our young children were getting impatient. (Restaurant not busy at all when we first arrived, so can’t blame business for this lack of service) Kids meals were good but the chocolate brownie would have been too bitter for even most adults…let alone children. Definitely not catered to children. Our meals were nice.. but we wouldn’t say they were outstanding, which we were expecting ..considering the generally high price tags on meals there. We have had nicer in other restaurants around Exmouth. General greeting on entry to hotel/restaurant. Standing around, waiting to be acknowledged whilst staff chatted amongst themselves for a while. We don’t think we would return and not recommend families with younger children to go.

The food was fantastic and service was also great. Unfortunately, by the time we asked for dessert, the coffee machine had been switched off, so no chance of an affogato. The bar was also closing. However, as we explained it was a birthday celebration, the staff managed to get us some espresso martinis and a mixed dessert plate. Great night.

Another beautiful experience at mantaray. Staff were exceptional and were very accomodating of our short timeframe. We could have stayed for the day. Thank you

Fabulous scrumptious food . From the entree to desert . Cocktail was exactly the same . We were super pleased with the service . The girl who served us went above and beyond to be polite , super helpful and professional with a welcoming smile even tho she was very busy . Nothing was too much trouble . Such a friendly place to dine and the view accross the pond/ pool to the ocean was picture postcard and added to the special evening . Thankyou Mantarays !!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Weill be back on Friday night when you have live music as well . Look forward to it .

Food was absolutely terrible! $39 for fish and chips and the fish was dry as a bone and was inedible! Such a shame as the restaurant is so beautiful with an amazing view but the food was terrible. Won’t be back unfortunately.
