My relatives were on vacation in the city and we needed a table for ten people. They had the perfect table - round with a lazy susan in the middle. Food was very good and menu had great choices for my pescatarian sister. Staff was attentive and helpful. Everyone in our party had a great time. Special shoutout to the hostess who found my misplaced eyeglasses before I left!

Incredibly pretentious! Every person, who worked there, acted as if you were beneath them. No one smiled, greeted us, asked how our food was, or checked on us after we received our food. In fact- we had to ask another waiter for our bill because once our waiter dropped off our dinner- we never saw him again. The vibe was Miami Vice. I felt like I was in a high end restaurant, in the early 90’s. The tables are about 2 feet apart and the couple next to us should have been “cut off” 2 martini’s sooner. It was a poor decision on the restaurant’s part to continue serving them. I should add that the chicken was well cooked- but not worth the experience. The chicken is why I gave it two stars and not one. I don’t normally leave poor reviews- but if you’re going to spend $100+ on dinner- go to a restaurant where your business is appreciated and the experience is well worth it.

Cannot say enough nice things about this absolutely stellar experience we had at our holiday dinner last night. Food was beyond expectations as was the staff from front of the house to waiter to busser to food runners. Not a wrong note was hit anywhere. Even decided in the middle of Thanksgiving dinner that we would be coming back for Christmas if not before. Bravo to everyone involved; and thank you. Already mentioned you to other friends

Monterey was a very pleasant surprise!! All of the appetizers and entrees we had were exceptional! The service was excellent, everyone was very attentive and personable. We were not rushed and very much allowed to savor the experience and our dining companions. The prime rib was fabulous and the table side service was a nice touch!! This is a dining choice that you will savor and a repeat!!

Lovely design and decor. Music too loud at lunch. Server forgot us despite it being not very crowded. Never came to offer coffee or dessert and we had to flag down a busboy for the check about 30 min after our plates were cleared.

Food was not good at all. We ordered a raw platter and it was not fresh at all. My husband got the pork and it was undercooked. My salad was nothing special at all. Really disappointing.

This was an excellent choice for a special dinner. The location is great. I put a note in my reservation about making a special accommodation for my dinner companion due to health issues. It’s nice to know they read the note ahead of time (don’t feel all restaurants do) and handled it perfectly. It was a great experience and the prime rib was worth dreaming about-so is their special old fashioned.

The ambience is great - super cool vibes. Looks like a great after-work bar as well. Food was just okay for the price. Neither of us would order what we ordered again - fried chicken and steak frites. We were pretty low maintenance but server was seldom seen and my water was never refilled.

We ordered 2 salads. I had chicken on top that I couldnt even chew it was so tough. My daughter had a radicchio salad that was all radicchio. The fries were good.

We started with little neck clams that tasted like they came right out of the water, perfect pearls to start our meal. Delicious prime rib carved and served tableside was the best we've had in a long time. The staff was very attentive. Great ambiance and the modern twist on the art deco decor rounded out a wonderful meal. We will definitely be back.

This place is so beautiful and fun, and it was so busy it was really cool on the night we were there. Our food was outstanding; but the service was spotty. It seemed we had 3 or 4 servers; but no one in charge, and it seemed odd. And even with that, we were left alone for periods of time, and had to flag folks down. I would go again but I would try to clarify who our server actually is and how their "system" works. It was unclear and disconcerting.
