Everything about this restaurant was delightful. We enjoyed the sunset and a spectacular city lights view. The food was delicious and a unique culinary experience. We ordered the 5-course tasting menu and were very glad we did. Btw the portions are generous! If you’re lucky you’ll get Leonel as your server. He was very attentive and took such good care of us!

Absolutely wonderful. Amazing food. The ceviche was incredible. I had the sea bass taco and my guest had the suckling pig taco. Only slight dissppointment was the tres leeches but then again I’m a bit of a snob about that. Our waiter, Lionel was all you could wish for. Going back in a couple of days.

We did the tasting experience and it was unbelievable. The chef customized it to accompany our gluten-free preference. The fish was so fresh and I had the best ceviche I have ever had. Your will not be disappointed.

Manta is one of favorites restaurants in Cabo. Beautiful views of the ocean, the land’s end and the sunset. Open air setting is nice. Staff is friendly and professional. The food is very good but the menu seems to stay nearly the same year to year. For repeaters like us, we can use some refreshing on the menu. Still one of the very best in Cabo.

No tengo mas que decir GRACIAS. Fué toda una experiencia, todo el personal ha sido servicial, amable, atento al detalle. Servicio de alta calidad. Mixología TOP, buena selección de vinos, tomamos el tasting menú y estuvo maravilloso. Me sorprendió la ensalada de melón con leche de tigre y la Totoaba estuvo perfecta. Sin duda la mejor experiencia que haya vivido en cualquier restaurante. Gracias en especial a José Alfredo, Leonel y Daniel, tienen un staff de lujo. Sin duda volveremos.

We just spent the week in Cabo celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary, and had an amazing dinner at Manta. We had dined at Pujol and Cosme prior, and were so glad that Manta lived up to our expectations of an Olvera restaurant. Our waiter, Lionel, was super helpful in guiding us through the menu and made some stellar food and drink recommendations—and also poured us some celebratory champagne at the end of the meal. Oh, and the balcony view overlooking the Cabo Arch at sunset was probably worth the price of admission alone

We dined at Manta in the Cape Hotel this week during our stay in Cabo. What an experience... a bit on the pricey side, but all things considered, worth every penny... read on! The first thing you notice about Manta is the absence of color or anything on the walls... everything is painted black! As explained by our waiter Sergio, the idea is to allow patrons to focus exclusively on the beach and ocean before you, without distraction. You have to see it to get it... it works! Segio was great all evening... attentive, but not intrusive. He did a wonderful job of guiding us through the menu based upon our discussions about what we like and/or don't like. Thank you for a wonderful evening, Sergio! We started with a cocktail, Avocado Cocktail and the Mezcal Negroni. Both were delicious, but as dinner progressed, we decided to peruse the wine list, and settled on a beautiful Henri Lurton Chenin Blanc, Valle San Vicente, MX. The bottle was perfectly cellared and served at the right temperature. It was awesome... The food parade began with some complimentary chips and salsas, the chips were made of blue corn and rice. The chips were super light and airy, and the salsas were sublime. Flavors were intense and deep. Very good start to the evening! The courses to follow included the Tuna Sashimi. The fish was "melt in your mouth," and paired exquisitely well with the sides. Ensalada Melon followed, cantaloupe and honey dew melon, tiger's milk, yuzu and peppermint... WOW! Next up was the Mushroom Ramen soup. The soup was easily one of the best bowls of ramen we have ever had. It was divine! Seemingly endless layers of flavor, every bite was savory. Octopus Anticucho followed, with pasilla peppers and chorizo mayo... the BOMB! Unfortunately, we didn't save room for an entree, and ended the evening with the Sticky Rice/Mango Sorbet. A wonderful ending to an exquisite meal. Highly recommend Mantra is you're in Cabo!

Food , service and location is exceptional! Almond mole with sweet potato was my favorite. The curry steam fish was excellent. Som picked a great Mexican Chenin Blanc! Service was amazing! We had Lionel & Oscar who went above and beyond to make my father’s b-day special. We’ve been to Pujol and Cosme, and Manta has the right balance for the Cabo vibe. Great job Olvera team. Love that mole! Next time, I need to try a cocktail!

Innovative dishes and very tasty sides the food was beautiful !! We ordered 2 bottles of wine....the wine list and their prices are insane but there are several "deals" on the list if you look hard. Beautiful wine list but overpriced.....great evening and we can't wait to get back there.

On a visit with group of family and friends we had the most amazing experience at Manta. This meal and the overall experience was outstanding on every level. There was not one thing I can say that needed to be adjusted, service, food, drinks, wine, ambiance and music. We all agreed that this goes down as one of our most memorable meals. Thank you Manta!!

Every time we come here we always go back to Manta. The setting is amazing and is only surpassed by the food. The service is stellar. It’s a little pricey, but we’ll worth it. My husband and I usually choose five or six dishes and share them. Great wine list. A must if you are in the area.

Tenía expectativas muy altas porque me lo habían recomendado mucho. Escogimos el menú de 5 tiempos para probar toda la experiencia pero de esos 5, dos me parecieron bastante regulares, las ensaladas y los platos fuertes. Por el precio del menú, no lo volvería a tomar, sobre todo comparado con otros lugares de precios similares o menores que conocí ahí en Cabo San Lucas.

You can’t beat the view and the food, but the service was disappointing for a high-end restaurant that charged $30+ for a glass of basic Decoy wine. They charged us for a cocktail that we had some allergic reaction to (despite noting the allergy) and it took us almost an hour just to get the check. I won’t be coming back here.
