The food was delicious and the service was phenomenal. The decor is absolutely quaint. We love this place!!!
Birthday dinner- unhurried, friendly service, delicious, fresh food; felt like we were in Paris
Great chicken special for this evening; everything was delicious! The food is always consistently great.
First time to Manon a smashing success. Ambience, service, food, all outstanding. Will go back!
Excellent food and great service.
We love the authentic atmosphere. The lamb chops were done to perfection and the vegetables crisp without being underdone. As you can bring your own wine I can't think of any restaurant with better value. Would recommend Manon to anyone who is a food lover. The fact that that this is a BYOB restaurant is a plus.
We are definitely returning but would not order fish soup or stew or the apple tart which was mushy and way too sweet for our palates. Otherwise thumbs up.
Wanted to treat friends to a very special dining experience and we hit the mark with Manon. We’ve lived in the area for 38 years and never heard about it. So glad we found it because we’ll be returning over and over again. My filet with a blue cheese sauce was the most tender I’ve ever had. My husband was thrilled to find liver and onions on the menu and it didn’t disappoint. Our guests had the shrimp and scallops in lobster sauce and enjoyed it immensely! Service was very attentive. Looking forward to dining there again very soon!
The evening was spoiled by a very unfriendly waitress who was impossible to find. Had to be asked twice for everything (with long waits between her appearances). Each time she finally arrived, she acted like she was doing us a favor. My salmon arrived over cooked on an extremely hot plate. May have been microwaved after waiting for my partner’s steak to be cooked. The steak was good. I have not been here in decades. Now I will never return. I don’t understand the rave reviews or the packed dining room.
Terrific French food, charming place, great value, excellent service. And fearless -- they were about the only Lambertville restaurant to stay open through Sunday night's snow storm!
We had a wonderful time at Manon. The food is delicious and it has a very French vibe. It is decorated in a cute Provencal style. It is a BYOB restaurant which made the evening not too costly and we brought a really good bottle of red with us
It was a Birthday celebration , this is such a cozy inviting spot! Food was amazing!
This a charming retreat from the world of slick venues. The ambiance is cozy and quirky. Everything was delicious... fresh ingredients and classic french dishes. We had a magical evening and will be back again.
Service was great, food great and dessert was to die for!
I’m in love with this restaurant ❤️
We had duck orange and steak with Roquefort both were excellent. We will go back soon.
We returned to Manon after many years. What a pleasant surprise. The food was excellent.
We had a delicious meal at Manon on a cold Saturday evening. The dining room is cozy and wasn't too loud, despite it being full when we left. Service was efficient and helpful. Food was really good -- mushroom soup, lobster dumplings, and baramundi entree. And it is BYOB, which is always good.
Bottom line is that we will return and recommend to friends.
This place is amazing. It's small, quaint, and lovely. The food is creative and excellent. Note that it's a BYOB place and they only take cash. But well worth a trip to MAC to get cash.
Manon’s is one of our go-to restaurants for a quiet dinner or special occasion. It is cozy and quiet, the service is friendly and unobtrusive, and the food, while traditional French bistro, is delicious. As an added benefit, they have a 2-course $25 dinner on Wednesdays and Thursdays, which is usually a selection off the usual menu.
This French cuisine is always an example of why French food is scrumptous. The restaurant is small and intimate with friendly service. We go there as a treat several times a year for an intimate and warm evening with ourselves and friends.
No mussels this time but that only gives us a reason to go back soon! Octopus special was great.
The special of the evening, a braised brisket, was cooked to perfection.
Great service great food the waiter was awesome and the value for the meal was great
Our bouillabaisse was good, not great. Sauce was too thick. Biggest complaint was the cleanliness of the restaurant. The stuff all around was old and dry rotting. Everything had a coat of dust on it that was visible. Pictures were crooked. Needs an good cleaning and purging ... would not recommend.
Unfortunately the service was awful. Could never find our waitress and had to keep asking for things that she over looked Also the Boullabaise was extremely over cooked so all the seafood was rubbery.
Great food, great value. BYOB is a plus and there is a well-stocked wine shop nearby. Service is casual and relaxed...if you are in a hurry or stressed out, then consider another restaurant...
We had a lovely dinner with friends, who can be quite fussy, at this small French bistro. The selection of appetizers, entrees, and desserts was good, they had several gluten free options, and the food was nicely presented and delicious. Service was excellent.
We had a lovely evening at Mamon.
The atmosphere is charming and cozy , the service was friendly. Our dinner was delicious! The appetizers and salads were generous portions The main course was served with tastey vegetables We will be returning soon and often!
A special place, from the quality, limited selection, of dishes to the atmosphere, art work and Van Gogh - like ceiling. They obviously care about what they do.
Quint, quite French restaurant. We’ve been here several times, so good enough to get my repeat business and I’m very picky with high expectations, so that says a lot. The service is great, the food is great. Specials are great when they offer specials. The place is small, often the noise level is moderate, but it was quiet and peaceful tonight. Great experience
Another excellent evening at Manon. I personally like the BYOB option. My daughter's bouillabaisse was once again a hit with her, and I loved the grilled chicken breast in a garlic cream sauce. There were no entrée specials that night, unfortunately, but I can always find something wonderful on the regular menu. Portion sizes are very generous.
The special of the evening, lamb shank, was great. The Pâté Maison is always delicious.
We made reservations through Open Table, not by calling the restaurant, so we were not aware that it was cash only. This became a problem when we went to pay the bill, almost $200, which we do not carry around with us in cash. The wait staff had been arrogant, curt, rude and surly throughout our experience there that night, as if they were doing us a big favor by letting us eat there. Then they rudely dismissed my claim that there was no notice of the cash only policy anywhere, not even on the menu. No mention was made of it before, during or after the meal. OK, the food was good (not great or exceptional), but that is not enough. It was my wife's 65th birthday, and she had her 2 best friends there, whom we were treating. Imagine our embarrassment. We will never eat there again and will tell our family, friends and neighbors to avoid it.
The food and ambience were great but the noise level was very high, difficult to have a normal dinner conversation. It's a shame because it's such a lovely place.
Mussels are best in the area, sauces always great, love to bring our own wine
Awesome French food - always great food and great service.
Lovely restaurant. We happened to be a couple in town overnight. Would be good for a friends get-together, as the table next to us was. We had mushroom soup and mushroom appetizer, then filet and duck - all excellent. No room for dessert, but options looked good. Oh, and a BYOB!
Terrific food! Lovely pottery that meals are served in/on!
My wife and I recently picked Manon to celebrate our first anniversary, and we not at all disappointed. Having worked in the food industry myself alongside some highly skilled chefs as well as eaten at countless fine dining restaurants around the country I can honestly say that Manon is one of my most memorable. French cuisine is my favorite, and Manon does it in spades.
