Mano a Mano is a pasta and wine joint that celebrates classic preparations of traditional recipes. With a wine program focused on 100% Italian grapes that are comforting and familiar. The space is designed to create a cozy enriched environment with deep booths that you can tuck away, warm lighting and walnut paneling with retro lighting.

A restaurant without options for protein. Good selection of appetizers and pasta but after that nothing… Really small wine selection too.

Food was great, love the ambiance but the service was subpar, especially at that price point. It took 10 minutes after being seated to be served water. There was a long delay between courses. There was also a long delay to get our water glasses filled throughout dinner, we had to constantly flag someone down. Our server only came to check on us 2 times throughout the meal, which was disappointing, given it discouraged us from ordering another drink. We went to celebrate my MBA graduation, and unfortunately I would not go back given the service experience. This was our 3rd time going, with the same experience the last time we went thinking it was a fluke but it seems to be a pattern with the poor service.

Dinner was great! For starters had the shrimp scampi and zucchini flowers. Had the oyster mushroom pasta and the lobster ravioli for dinner and the corn gelato for dessert….even scored a win with the wine-Costera!

Mano a Mano was fantastic - the food, the vibes, but especially the staff! Dre was our server and this man should be the spokes person for that restaurant group! He was wonderful and gave us incredible recommendations!

The food and service was great. The portion size is pretty small for the price point of each plate. One pasta dish would not be enough to fill someone up, even myself who is not a need large portions to get filled up. I was grateful for the extra bread.

I loved the reception and the curtains that lead you into the dining area. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable, Washrooms were great. Overall we enjoyed our dinner and will definitely be back.

The highest regards to both the front and back of the house. The food, service and ambiance is my favorite in all of Chicago.

10 10 10 across the boards! Everything was fantastic. we went for spaghetti sunday and left without the sunday scaries. Highly recommend you try this price fix menu, it’s outstanding. Will definitely come back again! oh, the dinner soundtrack had me reminiscing back to high school. loved it!
