Manny's Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
First time at Manny’s, treated my son for his birthday!!
Michelle, was our server!, very knowledgeable with menu and suggestions!!,
Kudos to Michelle, 😊
Thanks for the awesome service all around, never had empty water glass
Have to try dinner in the future !!
Thank you to all for a great experience!!
We have been to Manny's multiple times, the food is consistently delicious! The filet was done perfectly, flavored wonderfully, and the sides were amazing as usual. We love coming to Manny's whenever we are in town. As well as bringing family & friends here when possible.
Your place is amazing. Your server had showed us the lobster and this of course made my wife sad. Go figure. So he made sure that any of the carts that came by our table had the live lobster taken off. This is going above and beyond. You food is always top notch and once again you proved to be the best steak house I have been too.
This was the first time dining at Mannys that I left a little disappointed. I get the porterhouse every time, and I think it’s the best steak in Minneapolis. This time however, I decided to go with the double poterhouse and split it with my girlfriend. It wasn’t nearly as good, too much char, many parts were over cooked, and it just didn’t have the same appeal as the single porterhouse. For a $100 steak, I expected much better.... everything else was great, and I will continue to dine here. Just wont be getting that steak again
Manny's is highly regarded as one of the best restaurants in the city. My wife and I thought it was decent. The steak was extremely tender, but charred on the outside. Two steaks, with sides and a bottle of wine was about $300 before tip. The waitress (Tammy) was incredible, though. I loved her honesty and her recommendations. However, I don't know if I'd eat here again. There are better places in the twin cities that also are not as expensive.
This was a good meal, not a $200 meal.
The steak was good, but certainly not the best I've eaten. It arrived a bit lukewarm and quickly cooled to room temp.
The hashbrowns were pretty bland, basically just a pile of potatoes with no spices apart from a few onions. Although the reviews seemed to universally rave over the hashbrowns, I would try something else. Maybe the asparagus.
Glad I went here once but I won't be back any time soon.
We dined on a Wednesday evening, & boy it was noisy. Had a difficult time hearing my date. That's the only downfall. We were seated early. Had an awesome waiter, Paul!!! He was very knowledgeable of their food, & put his own twist of humor to the menu. Service was impeccable. Manny's knows steaks!!! Sure prices are a little spendy, but you won't find another steak place with choices like theirs. Their portions are family style. Plenty for leftovers. And to top off our evening, my date got a birthday slice of cake/mousse (candle too) large enough for 2!!! And it was delicious. I would definitely recommend Manny's for a good steak. Worth the drive and $$$.
The restaurant remains a fixture for a birthday celebration that started when my son turned 13 and continues to be his "spot" to celebrate.
The service was a little slow this time but the meal was enjoyed by all.
I personally enjoy sitting in the bar for that atmosphere as it tends to move you away from the large dinner parties.
My wife and I plan to eat there at least twice a year . The stakes are so tender you can practically cut them with a fork . We usually celebrate our anniversary there and there are two business functions we usually attend and we will eat there at the second one also. The only complaint was that we can’t reserve A table 6 months out .
..... this was our first time at Manny's. We had a large group for a birthday. It was a Saturday afternoon..... it was not very busy. Our food came out inconsistent hot and cold. Portions were small quality was good. Service was good but inconsistent. We felt like we were an afterthought to the wait staff. It felt like they were prepping for a dinner rush getting everything in order and we were kind of in the way. A few mistakes on the bill but I didn't want to make a scene to get them corrected. I was really hoping to find that special place for our large family to dine five or six times a year.
Wow. Where do I begin. Been a Manny’s fan for years and years. Still prefer the old Manny’s back in the Hyatt but that is another story. My wife and I now live in Phoenix and when we come back to the Twin Cities we always go to Manny’s. But that tradition will now end. Manny’s is over the top way too expensive. Steaks that used to cost $44 are now $64. Crab legs that used to be $60 are now $95. Outrageous. I am never going there again. The place is now a place where multi-millionaires can dine. The restaurant used to be packed. Last Friday night in prime dining time there were open tables and the bar was quite empty. The waiter said it was the $15.00 per wage that caused the price increases. I press the BS button on that. Manny’s has always been spendy but now it is over the top. Never again. Never again. Want a good steak in the MPLS area??? Go to Wildfie in Eden Prairie. You won’t spend a mortgage payment there.
